Yes sultan is a sociopath. The idea behind showing such characters is to not glorify them but people should be able to say "no this is not the way to be " . I think the drama does just that..he isnt glorified ..I love to hate him😆

Meer Hadi was the ml of drama Khaani , played by: Feroze Khan. He killed Khaani's brother. And the fell in love with her..he redeemed himself..but didn't get the love or forgiveness of the fl. 🤔

That show also glorified the killer. It was pased on a real life story, minus the love story between the killer and the sister of the murdered guy.😊

Never heard of this drama, but for me, if the guy redeemed himself properly like you said, I’d have liked him to get the forgiveness and end up with the girl. I’m too much of a romantic at heart and like to watch love story type dramas where the leads end up together.

I had typed a nice long comment but it got deleted accidentally So I am going to sum it up in points.

- Sultan is a sociopath

- Just want Nageen to get happiness and peace of mind.

- Sultan,Haroon and his mom can go to hell.

- I'm mad at these writers for ruining an interesting concept and for underutilising Danish and Hiba's chemistry.

- The drama writers have become lazy nowadays when it comes to writing characters.

- The last properly written and executed antihero/male lead was Mir Hadi. What a magnificent character!! His character development was exemplary.Even his redemption arc was properly done.

That dinner scene, even though there were no words spoken between them, you can’t ignore their chemistry.

The fact that Nageen was sitting right next to Haroon and barely looking at Sultan, you could still tell there was a silent personal conversation going on between them. Brilliant acting.

Wish the writers did a better job of Sultans redemption. Sometimes I think he’s regretful, caring and loving to Nageen and earnestly sorry and wants to change, and then the next moment he flips into scary psycho mode.😕

But I hated the girl in that serial....bahut Kuch discuss Karna tha when I saw the serial par time Nahi Mila....besides...the serial influenced me spiritually took...shayad isliye..feroz Accha Lagta hai

Thx I will check it out. I think dushman e jaan has a similar story where the ml is indirectly responsible for the rape and murder of the girl he marries later..diff is he is already remorseful.....

you can take a shot with this serial....feroze did a wonderful job....actually bcoz of this I saw his more serial...ishqiya I'm seeing for him only....I don't know he has some charm....esp his smile....

Thanks! Has Ishqya got a happy ending? I tend to watch dramas when they’re finished like ZGH and I know there’s a satisfying ending. I’m into watching completed Korean dramas after hearing good reviews. Deewangi is the only drama I watched from the start because the promo and the beginning episodes promised me a good love story. Now I’m hooked and it’s like ‘watching a car crash’ - you want to turn away but you can’t.😆

I still love Sultan though, he’s my fav character.

Same here. I am waiting for a few serials to end bec I dont wanna wait for this long for the next epi..but I happened to watch deewangi , thinking that its over.. then I started with meherposh thinking that one is finished 😆 Sab jagah dhoka hogaya 😆

Ishquia hasn't ended..I think another 10 epis ..its in the middle..

In dushman-e-jaan, H doesnot marry the girl that is raped.. he marries the girl's sister who is the h. But i didn't like it that he is responsible (indirectly) for the rape and death of the girl and marries the sister of the victim.

Sorry..I know it 😆I missed "sister " of the girl who is raped and killed ".precisely for this reason I never watched it..

Is there a teaser for the next episode of deewangi ? Will it air once a week only ?
