I want to be compelled by that character's actions. Be curious about its complexities. Want to intrigued by their layers.

Honestly speaking, nearly every character did it for me in this show. Agni, Chandni, their Mom, Dhruba’s sister..I like it when characters aren't flat. And this show did it quite well, all the while staying inside the tried and tested plots. They gave their own spin.
