Well in terms of standing army and troops,both are almost equal.but there airforce and navy are more advance then us in terms of weapons and machinery.it will be better to not talk about nuclear weapon.thats like destruction on both side.but end of the day it all boil downs to strategies in war.also our army has more experience of fighting in high terrain regions thanks to pakistan.dont know much about china.although they look impressive on paper,i doubt they have fought REAL war after 1962.One point i need to add is china have developed excellent infrastructure near border ,for providing supplies to there troops.which we lack.

We are stuck from all sides. Hostile neighbours all around: China, Pakistan, Nepal, and we do not have good relations with Sri Lanka either. If they all decide to attack at the same time then India stands no chance. Nepal and Pak are dancing to China's tunes only. How else does Nepal have the guts to do what it is doing. I panicked the day I heard Nepal has claimed Indian territory in its official map.

If Nepal is doing this, imagine what Pak and China will do.
