Star kids always have that inner confidence because they know they will get many chances from other places. She was right and did.

Getting slightly less help than Alia doesn't mean you were self-made or that the world was beating down on you and ruining your life and career.

She wasn't a bad actress...she had a pretty face back then....got debut awards...neither Yrf gave her anything nor she was allowed to work outside.

P.S - You actually don't see a pattern?? Sush,Shraddha stopped from not working outside yrf ....Losing out movie offers and finally revolting and leaving and angering Adi Chopra in the process.

It's their choice whoever they want to cast and shraddha did well. Yea she has not been handed a platter like alia but nonetheless, she did have more support than she would have had she been an outsider.

One cant just cry about nepotism and then defend shradhha just because you like her. Nepotism itself isnt the problem, problem is not giving equal opportunities.

So now we are saying what exactly? Poor Vaani because she got only 3 films. She was owed 30? Everyone needs to be given everything at all times apparently. How dare everyone not be treated like Alia.

Vaani has the biggest godfather in India but he doesn't operate the way Karan does. To be honest, Karan doesn't do that much for anyone either other than his beti. Ananya launched in a 2-heroine film and then went and did a small role in another 2-heroine film. They were small films too.

Sorry but Ananya is waaaaaay better looking like Vaani. It's not even a comparison. Sara and Jahanvi are average just like Vaani both in looks and talent.

How many cartwheels are we going to do to pretend Shradda is self-made?

And Shraddha gets bashed plenty for not being the best actress or her giggly nature in interviews! But her courage here was praise worthy so she got praised! Just like even when Alia managed to give a good performance despite the nepotism she was praised to some extent!

I like Shraddha but let’s be honest if not connected to the industry , she would have been doing TV bahu roles at best . She is pretty but not on the level of model turned actresses

Shraddha maybe an insider, but she is not part of Karan's gang. Also, she has made her own way up, and her trajectory is not like a usual star kid. There was no buzz about her debut film, which is unusual for a nepo product. That same year, Sonakshi's Dabangg was the talk of the town. Be it her choice of half baked roles or her tendency to try and go overboard to the extent it messed things up, Shraddha has been inconsistent and not taken seriously at all. The love she gets is for her sweet, uncomplicated nature and the vibes she gives, which are very positive. I agree she is not a good actress, but she is not getting roles because of nepotism. She genuinely has a lot of mass appeal and the stardom she has earned is not different from say, a Katrina Kaif. Katrina is also not a good actress, but you cannot deny her appeal.
