Chinese government is not easy to deal with. The other countries always take a stand with respect to which country will add benefits to them. The Chinese government can cause problems if not or even arrest other country citizens on false accusations or punish them. It happened to Canada. Meng Wanzhou, the chief financial officer and deputy chair of the board for the Chinese tech giant Huawei was arrested in Vancouver at the request of USA in 2018. She was kept in a mansion under surveillance in Vancouver and was treated very good. However, China as a revenge arrested some Canadians and treated them in an inhuman way in jail. My company President and a colleague were supposed to go to China in 2018 but they postponed it till Fall 2019 as it was not really safe for Canadians during that time.
