I needed something light to watch and this was rather adorable. A story about how a car becomes part of the family and the insecurity it incites in its owner regarding the love of family for him 🤣 super cute and I smiled the moment i heard them name their nano nannappan haha it reminded me on anika and uski champa. Very different story too and this is what makes malayalam films so special they chose such average everyday ideas that are yet unexplored and out of box . It was such a sweet timepass

Sushant had some training in jazz from Shiamak, yes but he mentioned on JDJ that he wasn’t a proper trained dancer otherwise and there were a few limited steps he liked to keep repeating. Lol he mainly picked up whatever he was taught in any performance. What he had basically was natural elegance as a dancer and a lot of dedication and focus. He was also a super creative guy and put a lot of his own inputs into the performances as was obvious on JDJ with Shampa. He was robbed of a deserving win in that season too. Many times he hasn’t gotten a win when he deserved it. Yes there were other successes but all of these injustices did get to him I think.

Like even this Guzaarish performance is creatively choreographed with the input of magic tricks that don’t feel like typical gimmicks and then Sushant has added soul to it rather than going through the motions as most TV actors do in dance performances.

Agreed I was very impressed by the idea and execution too it was different and didn't felt like a stage act if you know what I mean and credit to sush for it for doing it so fluidly

Lol what did I tell you yesterday about zee turning this Into an oppurtunity to get clicks too😏 so until yesterday the PR episodes had the thumbnail with hiten as manav but today suddenly it's back to sush Watch them put these performances out too. It's on prime video :)) that was so sweet for the most part totally made me smile esp gautam and his granny . Very relatable too caz I guess it's true a family car does contribute so much to one's memories and everyday life beyond just the machine part of it. It eventually does become a family member of sorts hi

I agree with what Saif said in this article....it is better to take a moment to reflect, to feel sorrow for the departed, but sadly most ppl are busy doing tamasha....there is no sense of dignity in mourning from these people. He's also quite right about the fact that none of them really cared and I don't just mean the bollywood A-listers that everyone is targeting in fury now....this happens on society on a mess level otherwise also. But right now people just want a target to hate on.

I also feel he was pretty bang on about the reality of how little ACTUAL contact there is among people these days....just token messages on birthdays or random occasions, but people are otherwise essentially all in their isolated bubbles. So to now pretend that they all actually cared is deffo hard to buy.

Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, hanged himself at his Bandra house in Mumbai. Reportedly, the actor was battling with depression for the last six months and was taking anti-depressant pills as well. His close friends and house help also inform that the actor was disturbed for a long time.

The unfortunate and untimely demise of the talented actor has shattered his friends, family and fans all across the globe. The entire industry, his colleagues, family, friends and fans are heartbroken over Sushant’s shocking demise and have been pouring in their heartfelt wishes.

Reacting to Bollywood’s sudden outburst of love towards Sushant, Saif Ali Khan tells Times of India in an interview: “There are so many people who’ve made comments so quickly. And it just seems to me that people are somewhere gaining some mileage from this poor fellow’s tragedy, you know, whether it’s to show compassion or to show interest or to show some political stance. So many people are talking rubbish in this nonstop kind of barrage on social media and it’s just embarrassing, really, I think.”

The Tanhaji actor says that a day of silence would be more appropriate than making comments on social media. “Out of respect for him, for Sushant’s tragedy, maybe a day of silence or introspection would be a little more becoming than this outpouring of love – an outpouring of love from people who obviously didn’t care about him and people who famously don’t care about anybody else,” he said.

Saif calls the Bollywood industry a ‘cutthroat line of work’ and asserts that anyone pretending to care is ‘ultimate hypocrisy.’ “I mean, we don’t care about anybody. You know, it’s a very cutthroat line of work. But to pretend that you do care is like the ultimate hypocrisy and I think that’s an insult to the dead, you know, it’s an insult to the soul that’s gone,” says the actor.

“We live in an age where people write 10 lines for you on Twitter and will walk past you on the street - won’t even touch you or shake your hand. You know, you get wished for your birthday, but people don’t actually call you. There’s no contact,” he added.

While the news of Sushant’s demise is a big shock, many celebrities have now tweeted saying that they were aware of the actor’s low phase and that the actor seemed disturbed. Many actors tweeted saying that the industry and the biggies of Bollywood failed Sushant Singh Rajput, that further pushed him to take the drastic step of suicide.

However, Saif does not completely agree with this. “People are failing people constantly. To take any stand at the moment, apart from just sorrow, and just saying that I’m really sad that he had no way out except this - any other comment is somewhere manipulating the situation, I feel. You have come across this as an opportunity to take a shot at somebody, and you’re taking a shot,” he said.

Talking about Bollywood camps, Saif says: “These are the wrong comments to make now. I mean, you can say, listen, it’s just really bad, what happened. It’s really sad that this is the only way he could see out. But to blame anybody or to you know, draw these camps out, this is pathetic. I think it’s a function of lockdown plus social media. And it’s sad that film people can’t think beyond films. We will all assume that this terrible thing happened to him because of his films. There is more to life. Maybe he was upset about other things in his life. Maybe it was a personal reason. Maybe it’s nothing to do with films. If you can’t see beyond that, you will put everything on that – the movies you do.”

Saif Ali Khan’s daughter and actress Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant in the film Kedarnath. Sara and Sushant shared a good bond and talking about Sara’s reaction after the latter’s untimely demise, Saif reveals that the actress was very upset.

Revealing that Sara was ‘very, very, very upset’ by the news, Saif said, “She liked him very much. She was quite impressed with certain aspects of his personality. She told me he was very intelligent, that he could discuss, you know, Jean-Paul Sartre and he could discuss various aspects of philosophy and engineering and that he had learned how to shoot with a bow and arrow left-handed, and he was very fit as well as very hard-working, and a good actor.”

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites took place in Mumbai on Monday, June 15 2020.

Yup I was like finally koi toh akalmandi ki baat kar raha hai. It's true though everyone is making it about themselves and trying to push their own agendas. The aftermath is freaking ridiculous by the people and by industry walas everything has become a big joke and it's embarrassing. Everyone seems to be an expert all of a sudden just give it a break and stop trying to milk it for yourselves. Thodi toh sharam kar lo. But huh sharam naam ki cheez toh logon main reh hi kahan gayi hai aajkal Kisi ko kisi ko blame karna kisi ko kuch kehna hai bhai 2 din pehle yeh concern kahan tha maybe it would've made a difference then. I like the point saif raised that nobody exactly knows what happened so why assume things and so agree with velle log taking their own frustration out to look more woke but actually looking like jokers trying to benefit from this situation be it KR and her fascist agendas or random people blaming the women in his life or specific film people. Also the irony gets rich when they are trying to stop bullying by bullying others🤔 totally based on assumptions

Honestly, as you were saying some days back also....it's just better to tune out the constant barrage after a while....good or bad. If some ppl want to act psycho in appropriating this tragedy....ignore and don't give any fuel to any of that. All it does is just create a vicious cycle of negativity that doesn't change anything.

Better to find and focus on the few things that can give you perspective in a day rather than constantly just focusing on things that drive outrage. Whether it's a cat video or making a random picspam....do that little bit that helps you realign your mental space in a positive way. No need to give oxygen to every bakwaas that floats on the internet.

I have been trying to do exactly that but it's hard caz it's so fresh still and ho estly this is probably the first time that 3 days later too it's making me feel so empty but the key here is that all the outrage and tasha and anger won't change a thing now so is there a point beside looking for attention.

I'd rather smile talk about and remember the good times instead of hurting someone else and I sincerely hope and pray the media gives it a rest and let his loved ones be at peace and stop hounding them.
