I liked him and supported him from the time he made it into BW though I disliked him briefly during the KDMH times for something which I don’t want to talk about now...He is a good actor and has some good work backing him up...His future looks promising despite all the snubbing he was been subjected to...Sad sad sad!

One needs to be very strong working in film industry with no expectations from the industry and the audience. The person must have to think before joining bollywood that he or she may be rejected very easily even if that person has become a star. He must think he can be out of work anytime and the audience can reject him any time. Prepare with it before joining.

Sushant's death had to happen like this.

I liked him during his TV days.. was a huge Preet fan.. followed PR only for him too.. his BW persona never appealed to me but now that I think back on it, maybe he was just trying to fit in..I feel terrible to have judged him harshly for that.. as I said, his death has made me question how I view celebs..

Strangely this is what has made me warm up to him and support him....He was always looked down upon by everyone for everything, so much that even his good work used to either go unnoticed or be called upon as attention seeking....He was after all a person without any standing in a cutthroat industry and was trying to make a mark of his own- wannabe or not, at least he was’t going around harming people! :(

@Bold: Yes, if anything- this whole thing should act as an awakening to every person about how we view the celebs or even the people in our everyday lives and be a bit more empathetic towards them!

One of the versions From a Bollywood artist, I received on other group chat about Sushant Rajput:

Really really sad! He was just 34!

They say he was majorly depressed about his career. He had had a big fall out with Yash raj films (Aditya Chopra) as well as Karan Johar. It seems Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first choice for movie Ram Leela was Sushant. He had approached YRF to allow Sushant to work in the movie ( SSR was under a contract with YRF). But Aditya Chopra refused to release him. And later allowed Ranveer who was also under YRF contract to do the movie. Befikre was another movie which SSR was supposed to do but was given to Ranveer. Sushant was pacified by offering him Paani, a movie by Shekhar Kapur to be made under YRF banner. But after two years Aditya Chopra backed out of Paani too. This led to a big showdown between Sushant and Aditya Chopra. Karan Johar too got involved in the fight. So a clique had been formed against him.

He had been cut off by the Bollywood industry for the last year or so. Was not being invited to the Bollywood parties, nor being offered any major movies. Financial issues too were there.
