I am not aware of what is happening on twitter, but my point of mentioning Sidharth and Sana was that family needs to be close. One needs to put those words across to every person in the house exactly as Sidharth did to Sana. One cannot escape that conversation in today’s times. Husband to wife and wife to husband, fiancé to fiancé, bf/gf to each other, parents to children, children to parents, sibling to sibling, friend to friend. One needs to be for each other- in real and virtual.

As I mentioned on chat to you I have gone through depressive phases previously because I have been into counselling others myself and people’s tough lives would affect me too and my husband has been my strength and I am his. My mother has been going through low phases recently due to being housebound and I speak to her over the phone often- just giving her space to speak.

One cannot shirk responsibility. Sidharth is to Sana what Sana is to Sidharth. The message needs to go out- We are there for you. I am there for you. That is the only way we can build a strong relationship and community and nation. That was what my post was about 🙏

Yes, I really wish that we can be that person in our closed ones lives. We can't be doctors but we can be supportive.

Exactly 🙏

but we don’t have to present our idols as the god gift to mankind right now! I don’t want to say more as I will end up bashing both about the same topic so I better refrain from discussing about it!

Didn’t Sushant also do a movie about suicide? Still he committed right? So comparing their words or how great they aren’t needed right now!

God’s gift to mankind? 😆 You are probably speaking from a twitter context I am unaware of and you may be right from that perspective. I personally feel celebrity lives can serve a larger purpose and that is how a reality show like BB can serve the community beyond fights and entertainment. Sidharth is a very motivating person himself on all his tweets and Sana too has spoken about the need for positivity and positive thoughts on the show. Mental health was a talked about topic this season via other HMs and Deepika’s presence too. So, that is the entire context of my words given my professional area of expertise. Chalo, no more from me on this. As others said today is not a good day as is and I was sincerely not looking for an argument, and I hope I am not misunderstood. We are indeed blessed to have come across a wonderful love story and couple like Sidnaaz but I still wouldn’t say they are God’s gift to mankind 😆 Peace, girl ❤️

You are perfectly right, Uma. There are many people who follow Sidharth and celebs are role models for many... so replaying all the good words that they have said - and mind you in this case on a reality show, not a scripted one - can positively influence people, so there is no harm in spreading positivity!

It is similar to how Sidharth's feminism dialogue has been used to talk about gender equality.
