I used to watch him when he was casted as Preet in Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. I loved him in that show.

It is so distressing knowing that this young man was suffering silently, never once assuming the extent of his mental and emotional pain. Life is so incredibly precious, and the concept of death is even more petrifying. To know that he chose death over life, because he found living more terrifying is beyond painful. I pray that he is in peace and in a better place.

Let this be a reminder for us all. Just because someone is smiling, laughing, or seemingly happy - does not mean that they don’t have their own personal demons to deal with. We should always strive to be kind and empathetic, without being rude or condescending. It could take one more act of unkindness to validate a vulnerable person’s feeling of worthlessness - yet it can also take one act of kindness that unbeknown to you, has given them the hope and strength to face another day.

I’m so sorry Sushant. I’m so sorry for your suffering and pain. 💔💔

He was a good actor, who unfortunately left this world before his talent was fully realised.

I hope BW remembers him for his contributions and try not to make this about themselves.

Wow this is incredible, he did so many good deeds and never boosted about it. What a guy. Unlike others, he never did this for the show of it or PR but b/c he truly cared. Never realized how selfless he was and how nice he was to his fans and always interacted with them. Incedible human being.

I'll be honest, I used to criticize him and his acting a lot and never gave him a fair chance and I felt so immensely bad about it. It was a huge wake up call to show empathy to others even on SM. We never know what ppl are going through and I'll think 100 times before I type/say something. There's always a respectful way of discussing things. And i would never want my words to hurt anyone.

I know his soul finds peace now and his family has the strength to overcome this. I remember him talking about his mother on JDJ and how she was really the only one that believed in him and I can't even imagine what she's going to. May god give them all the strength.

Unfortunately his mother died when he was in 12th, so it's his father who is going through the devastation. Sushant used to write poems about his mom and his last insta post is about his mom :(

He donated very generously. His journey from TV to films was admirable. I loved his work😒

Oh man, I didn't realize this. I remembered he talked about his mom but didn't know she passed away. His father, omg I can't even imagine experiencing so much loss in one life. Thanks for correcting that.

Look how cheerful and happy he looks here. I hate everyone who may have wilfully caused his depression.
