Pinkvilla: KSG not keen on returning amid pandemic.

Karan Singh Grover as Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay was much loved and appreciated and despite taking a break in October, he returned to the show earlier this year too. However, now we hear that Karan has opted out of the show for time being and won't be returning anytime soon.

A source revealed, "It is well known that KSG's entry in the show led to a steep rise in the show's TRP and that was one of the reasons why Bajaj's track was introduced earlier this year. However, KSG won't be returning as Mr. Bajaj as of now. He is very much concerned about the ongoing pandemic in the country and is not too keen on returning. The team is negotiating and discussing things with him right now and trying to convince him to return." The team will mostly be resuming shoots from June 26 along with shoots of Kumkum Bhagya, KZK, Naagin. We tried reaching out to Karan for a comment but he remained unavailable.

About the shoots resuming, "When the pandemic hit our country, everything had to be put on hold for an indefinite period. But thanks to our government, with their help and support, Balaji Telefilms will be able to resume shooting some of their famous TV shows from 26th June namely Kumkum Bhagya, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Naagin 5. Ekta Kapoor is very enthralled and will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of its actors and crew."

We'll knew he would be not risking anyone's lives, he was very clear since day one saying risking anyone's life and families isn't something he would do.

Ekta really needs to "negotiate" harder this time. Elsewhere Saraf, the lady who is Shivani is having a hard time getting her tests done and then there are many others coming from the fortunate sector, who are misusing their new found freedom.

The 35 members who will be included in the crew won't have the daily wagers at the first place for whom they wanted ITV shoots to resume. These people can wait till covid cases stabilizes especially in a place like Mumbai. But again channel facing losses will only care about profits!

Good decision! No one can keep track of who and what everyone in the cast and crew come in contact with on a day to day basis! This is safest decision one can take at the moment. As his fan him and his family's safety comes first before entertainment!! We waited a whole lot a few years ago, and can definitely wait longer.

I am sorry to say but iss relatively flop show ke actors ke itne nakhre hain almost making it look like for other actors who have resumed shooting etc their life doesnt and health concerns dont matter ...waise bhi ye show isnt a top show its better ekta shut it down and invest elsewhere ..... even bollywood is resuming shoots most people have headed back to work..inke nakhre hi khatam nahi hote jaise ...this lot deserves to stick to their insta videos n be happy

Bajaj is a character which they can show stuck somewhere due to business meetings 🤣 Having said that, without him the story would be stuck.
