yeah...gotta be more careful in winter! You guys get pretty bad blizzards! I lived close to the great lakes so we get a lot of lake effect snow....good days when we used to have snow cancellation days 😭

Hmm that's interesting! I'm not sure if there is a "midwest" accent...but we tend to talk slower and elongate our vowels and don't emphasize certain sounds. So for example, instead of saying Mirror as Mirr-or...people say it as Meer....it's weird. I was raised in MI so, I tend to talk a little differently than people in my state....in MI, people emphasize sounds more
