Re watched Chennai Express today. Decent and entertaining

Ponmagal Vandhal: a okay one time watch, but it wasn't as hard hitting as I wanted it to be. Plus its twists were quite underwhelming, they didn't felt like twists at all

Lift Boy: Yahi hai Mumbai meri jaan! A teeny glimpse of authentic Mumbai and how the rich and poor cohabit there (the lead's friend sounds like someone brought up in Bandra W, and the movie also seems shot there). Loved it, would definitely recommend. But yeah no masala if that is what you're looking for.

Jawaani Janeman: Was disappointed. One time watch. Didn't find Alia F as good as the hype: she acts well but lacks the looks to be a heroine. Tabu has been wasted. Saif was his usual good.

Zindagi Gulzar Hai (series): Gave it a try and was hooked! But never have I been as fascinated and disgusted at the same time by any piece of art. It almost feels like propaganda against liberals. 😡
