I find it so soft and adorable to know that La and Khushi end up sleeping in the same room. I love these 2 and their friendship so much!!! It’s so cute 😭😭 *can’t deal!!!* :. Omg Sabi. The way you described the chicken tikka kebabs and the cashew curry made me go to the kitchen and runmage for some food 😂😂 (thankfully bro in law had some chicken wings so had some hehe) but wow.. your words were magic there.. as always but damn. I need to learn how to cook nicely 😭😭 (also LOL @ Akaash’s brday😂😂) , argh *sighs*.. i honestly LOVE whenever Khushi mentions adding no cheese/milk due to Arnav’s lactose intolerance.. i just LOVE IT HEHE - Khushi watching everyone’s expression makes my heart warm. Can I just say I also love the little overviews /commentaries you do - the way you casually state: ”There was a visible change in Khushi’s demeanor. While she had been dismissive and self-conscious when praise was being directed at her, she was now leaving no stone unturned in hyping Lavanya’s art and openly bragging about it like it was some sort of a personal accomplishment.” - 3rd person narrative.. it’s that right? (God, i feel so old.. and silly LOL) - i just LOVED IT !!! It really adds to the essence/scene and shows the distinctive nature of the characters !!! Notably Khushi here, of course.

Wow okay.. so listening to Anjali/Lavanya’s perspectives on being a people person etc etc is a total mood. 100% !!! It definitely depends on your company so i totally relate to what their saying!! Listening to Khushi’s perspective made me sombre.. just because of how true it is. Of course, considering her history as well. My heart goes out for her.. she must have felt so alone despite being in a crowd. To have everything appear perfect and for her to be crumbling inside, it’s heartbreaking.

I love how Arnav’s discovering so much about Khushi and how he’s so interested in her behaviour.. and I love how Khushi is affected by Arnav too. The ”More importantly, why did his heart flip so forcefully inside his chest at that possibility?” - AHHHHHHHH ARNAV’s heart is fluttering !!!! CUTE, CUTE, cuuuuuute 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Also Khushi putting some Lucknowi food aside for nani!!! Haaaaaaye mera dil. She’s so pyaari !!! How can anyone be horrible towards her 😭😭 - “Sometimes she looked so…cute that he just felt like…pulling her cheeks and…and… “ - Arnav is a COMPLETE MOOD HERE BECAUSE SAME LOL SAME !!!

I knew she would contact Khushi hehe although she didn’t come to mind straight away (the stress of that leech !!! Combined with Khushi’s worry!!) - LOL LOL @ nani’s “my Anjali keeps talking about you” (paraphrased of course) - i love Anjali. Such a precious bean 😂😂😭😭😭

I love reading about Arnav stealing looks @ Khushi. The man is WHIPPED and i love reading about it 😂😂 i love how he stares at her and sees she’s not staring at him, but the second he does the pen thing, she’s looking (i can practically read his glee!! So adorable..) it’s like he needs to know she looks @ him/ notices him too! Precious baby 😭

The smoking conversation - i just love how they end talking about random things and it just happens so effortlessly. It’s so real, you know. ❤️ Also LOL @ Arnav teaching her and Khushi getting flustered!!! So so cute !!! And then of course, her glee when she does it. So cute *protect at all costs!!!* i also loved the “why are you so cold?” - it’s like he wants to embrace her and fill her with warmth. Not just physically in terms of his warm hands and her cold ones, but just emotionally, symbolically as well. Ahhhhh do it Arnav !!!!!! Do it !!! LOL. You know as I read this FF, i feel like i an in Khushi’s place. I’m falling in love with this character etc etc (and vice versa of course). Very random to say as i’m sure everyone feels like this but still..

Okay right.. so this phone call. I remember reading this update and being so intensely angry and furious. I was so mad and my heart broke for Khushi so hard. The minute i read about Khushi’s mum asking if she was eating properly, i grew soft. I had some hope that she fixed up, her parents fixed up but it came crashing down and i’m so angry at them, angry for Khushi. How can they guilt trip her?? Question her like that?? Doubt her and think she is lying? HOW CAN THEY STILL BE IN CONTACT WITH SHYAAM????? I don’t understand.. do they not know the abuse Khushi went through his hands? Or was it limited to emotional abuse (if this is the case, i’m assuming her parents just thought “gharon mein yehi hota hai. You just bare with it etc” which is a whole other issue but still.. it’s just so disheartening to hear. It’s just.. and then making Khushi feel bad because of her dreams. Questioning her choices.. it is so sad. So sad and disappointing. How do you get over that? How do you forgive your parents and their words? I mean, do you ever? I just.. i’m speechless and disappointed. Honestly.. so disappointed in them.

I’m tempted to know what Khushi decided. I feel her mum’s comments have triggered her to quit. I’m happy for her.. but i want to see what Arnav says!!!! How they talk etc.. lowkey hoping she confides in him LOL. Bichara that text message may have stressed him out😂 but yeah.. oh Khushi. I love her :(

I am addicted to this story ,and as the story is moving forward we can see each chapter has some or the other story to tell .This interlude has given us an insight into the horrendous life kushi had with Shyamwa so also it highlights the domestic abuse faced by women today.

Kushi’s life with Shyam was nothing short of a nightmare. She faced many hurdles in her marital life, she was a victim of domestic violence and physical abuse .Shyam not only proved to be a beast so also proved to be characterless person, he blackmailed kushi’s parents and fleeced a lot of money from them. Today even after divorcing kushi Shyam is still able to arm twist kushi’s parents and fill their ears against their own daughter, for them their ex jamai’s words are gospel truth rather than their own daughter.

It took a lot of grit and determination for kushi to free herself from Shyam as she had to fight not only one but two battles one a legal battle against shyam for domestic violence and abuse and the other battle against one’s own family as kushi’s parents were and are backward and regressive in thinking they belong to the nineteenth century who think more about society than their daughter’s well-being

Happy that kushi’s stand against Shyam was firm and didn’t give in to his sweet talks even after the divorce he thought he could make a cone back in her life .But besides all these untoward incidents in her life Lavanya becoming kushi’s room mate and friend was the best thing that has happened in kushi’s life now so also Arnav is slowly coming closer to Kushi I think he will stand with her and face all the problems .
