Black Panther was with a cast that was mostly Black people so that’s not a very good comparison 🤔 ( don’t remember much about Aquaman).

Aquaman had a side character who was black. The main villain is as white as they come.

Thanks ! I fast-forwarded through that one while traveling on a plane so I forgot most of the stuff 😆 .

Gone With The Wind glorified slavery and Confederacy so it is fair call for HBO to remove it . If people want to watch it for history they can always buy the DVD instead .

But we have to judge according to the period when it was created . MANY classic BW movies would be considered regressive/racist/misogynistic by today's standards so should TV channels stop telecasting them ?

It's impossible to watch. It's like they stuffed the full Aquaman trilogy in a full film to keep it so busy, so no one notices the stupidity. Much like The Rise of Skywalker. 😆

You are assuming someone asked for this though. This is some news piece and few tweets and AT&T took it as the least effort thing they could do for some 'earned' media. Companies don't take decisions based on ethics or radical left.😆

Yes they are doing it for current climate ,to appeal to those people so they tweet how good they are.

They cancelled cops, live pd on indefinite hold, b99 would be about blm next season , many such announcement are going to come for the clout.

But that shouldn't happen at first place

I agree with you, but if it's too problematic it should not get any platform. Jisko dekhni hai woh DVD khareed ke dekh le. I assume Germany doesn't telecast any movie made before 2nd WW glorifying Hitler and his ideology.

Rahi baat GWTW ki, I fell asleep after 10 mins of watching it, so have no idea how problematic its content is.
