I think no other serial will have this much low quality dresses given to leads in ITV). I really liked DKI mature acting in all the scenes from Simar and Piyush track. DKI had that guts to be acted as a mother to 2 adult kids on onscreen at the age of 29 ( in real life). SSK was top 5 longest running shows in colors TV. Now also, when I read comments under DKI videos and interviews in YouTube, lot of members will mention about SSK show. I feel personally and professionally SSK helped DKI allot. I stopped watching the episodes of SSK after DKI leaved that show.
P.S: Now, SSK is telecasting in Colors rishtey TV and Malayalam version of SSK is also re-telecasting now ( I knew this information after checking Avika Instagram story some days back in lock down period. SSK Tamil version Moondru Muduchu was a big hit in Tamil nadu and DKI has lot of fans are there in Tamil Nadu ( while stalking twitter, I got to know this). SSK was telecasted in total "ten" countries. By seeing all these, we can say SSK was one of the best things happened to DKI.

I agree! SSK was that show which stabilized Dipika's career and her name in the industry. How much ever overdramatic and regressive the tracks might be, the shining star was rising higher and higher episode by episode! After watching SSK, I realised that I have actually watched an entire lifetime's movies of a variety of genres! Every kind of scene explored, every possible track and the success of each track was because of our very own favourite! I also realised that in SSK, I watched several actors in one actor! I mean, usually actors have a comfort zone and prefer to do one kind of role, a single kind of character only.
But Dipika! My god, she is a complete package! Having her on board, any producer would be over the moon because the script writer doesn't need to worry whether Dipika will be able to perform or not as she has done literally everything in SSK! From being the teen age college girl having a dancing talent to becoming the good bahu to donning so many costumes in order to protect Bharadwaj family (Like in Meghna track and all) to even being the possessed person (Sunaina track) to the daayan's encounters and then the patali Devi track (my god there were terrific performances by Dips; the number of stunts!!!)! Then as you said, playing a mother!!!!! An actor to achieve this much needs a unique level of patience and confidence!!!! Proud of her!!!!!
My favourites are like you said too. The tracks I re-watch sometimes are the supernatural ones usually 😂 The Sunaina track was soooooooo good honestly! All the comvos between Simar and Vikrant are really good to watch!!!!! And I felt, Simar and Vikrant shared really nice chemistry too (I agree that Dheeraj shared better chemistry with Dipika than Shoaib). I don't re-watch the patali Devi ones😂 The entire sequence when Simar was a mother is a treat I swear! Her trying to get Anjali back on track by living with the Bharadwaj family is awesome!! I can go on and on about it😅😅
About the costumes during and post marriage of KHKT, they were just bakwaas🙄😏🤐🤐
The PS part, SSK rocks! Dipika rocks!!!🥳
