Do you prefer books, movies or both?

I, for one, love reading books and watching movies, and can't choose between these two things. Both have their place of importance for me.

But which one do you prefer? Discuss.

Watching a movie brings immediate gratification, but reading a book has its own sort of pleasure. But it's def. more taxing.

In my opinion, a well-written book will always be far more superior than a movie. The depth of emotion that can described in words often falls flat when portrayed through films.

I personally love to use my imagination, so I’m often travelling in la la land when reading and I love that feeling ❤️

Yes, well-said. Books are like an individual flight of fantasy, whereas movies use visual and sound effects to make you see and feel a certain way. It curtails our imagination, in a way.

BOOKS , the joy of holding a book physically, smelling its pages, to feel the gripping story is incomparable !

Besides watching a good movie requires a lot of extensive research ,which i rarely bother myself into .😳
