No, they are part of medical team trying to save the elephant, but couldn't... And nobody fed the elephant anything... It is now revealed that the poor elephant ate the pineapple which was meant to kill the wild boars who destroyed the rice fields there.... Completely unfortunate

It's all distorted news... It didn't happen in Malappuram district, it happened in palakkad district... N nobody 'fed' the elephant anything... The poor elephant ate the pineapple which was meant to kill the wild boars who destroyed the rice fields there... The medical team tried to revive the elephant with the help of 2 other elephants after someone spotted it running to the pond with its jaw broken but couldn't save ... It was during the postmortem that the cause of death and the fact that it was pregnant was known... The whole district is mourning but obviously the fake news spread far and wide by then...

But for bold it's still under investigation. Sone are saying it was accidental and some are saying it was intentional..
