Madhu the weather here in Hyderabad is cool and pleasant. It changed drastically because of cyclone in Maharashtra.

Good morning!

It has been raining all night, but light rain, no evident sign of any cyclone so far. The atmosphere is dark, Sun gone into hiding, clouds overcast, intermittent drizzle and an uneasy calm till the cyclone actually arrives or passes our shores. Temperatures have cooled from the raging heat, wet earth is emanating ethereal odours, already oppressed and harassed residents by lockdown and covid, are waiting with uneasy anticipation for the disaster to pass and focus to be back on treatment and testing.

Thank you dear Avi for your concern, guess we should all be fine, nothing surprises me, any other calamity, man or nature made want to strike, come, we hapless people are ready. Sorry for being so ironic friends, wonder why I welcomed this year so joyously, all over the world disasters are unfolding this year, looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.

Padma for your son and Avi, hope things normalise soon in America, the scale of protests is unprecedented and in another fifteen days more cases of COVID could emerge, so take care everyone.

Fierce winds, little rains, trees falling and heavy rains expected for a couple of days now. The cyclone did not batter my city directly but it's fallout felt here. Airport shut down, life come to a standstill for some time, update at 4 pm.
