Wo baat alag hai ki post this Damned Giraftaar series, I did not feel like watching Abhijeet and Shreya in the same frame and post the D-S track ending, I did not feel like seeing both D-S in the same frame.

So, finally am here to rant... Kal se dimag kharab hai to aaj aa gaye bakwas karne...

The first of my most hated episodes was episode 977-978... Ultra epic beizzati of science. The science student inside me was crying phoot phoot ke after seeing those episodes and I was cursing myself for watching them. I mean come on!! Chemical which changes the DNA of humans and turns them into animals??

Then that stupid Daya-Shreya track... Starting was still okay but as the track progressed, it became more and more irritating... Shreya stopping her work and just sitting and oogling at Daya with the 'Ishq Wala Love' playing in the background?? Seriously?

Not to forget the Ahmedabad episodes... What was that even? Shreya missing and Daya trying to find her and being framed for murder? Upar se that makeshift operation theatre in the chemistry lab!! Daya operating on Shreya to take out the bullet through a hole in her top!! What was that? Just to show how close they were to each other? He had found Shreya... His work was done. He could easily have handed her over to his team who could have taken her to the hospital... What was the need for that scene? And on top of that, Shreya's dialogue at the end of that scene... I don't even want to remember that!!

Then the giraftaar series... It began quite decently but by the third episode of the series, it became unbearable. I mean it was a full blown YSPT by the end. But even if it was a plan, why the hell did the ACP, DCP and Dr. Salunkhe insult Abhijeet that badly? ACP saying that he should not have trusted Abhijeet... DCP saying that everytime Abhijeet lands in trouble, his uses his memory issue as an escape route and accusing him of being mixed in all the 'ulta seedha kaam' that happens... Dr. Salunkhe calling him a Kalank on CID and a 'gandi machhli'... This was the first time I saw Dr. Salunkhe ignoring very simple facts and just trying to blame and accuse Abhijeet... The dialogues were really bad and OTT. Hypocritical too. At one time he says Abhijeet is the inspiration and hero of all the CID officers and at other point he says that he is a man who can spoil the reputation of CID?

Shreya accusing him of trying to kill Daya because of a small argument and handcuffing him and arresting him in a public place in front of the people... All this was unbearable. Is this how a senior officer should be treated?? Even if it is a plan, this kind of insult was too much...

Uske baad, at the end of the series everything was back to normal as if kuch hua hi nahi tha?

Okay... I have already said enough to irritate you guys. But this is only half of what I wanted to say... Have wanted to say all this since years par kya kare...ghar main koi humari bakwas sunne wala hai nahi 😆

Well, I basically stopped watching post episode 978. That was the episode where they actually brought D-S love story to the forefront.

The giraftaar series I watched cos I was curious after seeing the promo. But it turned out to be my worst decision which is why I stopped after the third episode cos I couldn't sit through this crap.

Uske baad came the CID sankatkaal series, around episode 1180-81 which was another disappointment. My maa watched it and I saw only the last part of the second episode where ACP was again accusing Abhijeet of leaving Daya behind in the submarine to save his own life...

Yeah... Chemical that changed human DNA and turned them into animals with bulb jaise green eyes...

Not to mention that Shreya actually threw Daya with a single slap and both S and T beating Abhijeet black and blue.

But honestly, T was looking nothing less than an Aahat wali aatma with those open hair and green eyes...

I watched only a few particular episodes post this 978... I watched episode 1000-1001 cos there both Abhijeet and Daya were amazing in their undercover roles. It was a must watch after so many crap episodes.

Then there was this episode 1083-84... It was also a good one in terms of acting.

Iske baad, I skipped all episodes and just watched episode 1116 cos that was the episode where the rift ended...

Iske baad, I never watched CID regularly... Brahma Gyaan jo prapt ho gaya tha... 😆

I always say... CID was awesome till 2006-07. No one can beat those episodes especially those of the golden era, the CID Files. After 2007-08 the quality started degrading.

Well, I know you joined later but wishful thinking! Because here too they had introduced each and not only particular characters. 👏

BTW, did you read my analysis on particular sequences. While writing it, I was on full on roasting mode but you weren't present that day. 😛
