I saw something recently from an Indian Youtuber about this.

As though Indian reviewers don't review Hollywood movies. As though Indian movies don't get reviewed in Asian countries as well as Europe and America. As though he hasn't posted his own peeve about the quality of Indian films being sent to the Oscars.

He came across as massively petty TBH.

Live and let live. YT Is a global platform, and Indians enjoy a certain amount of freedom to watch what they want. If you want more viewers, provide better programming. T series can tell him how to do it😆.

Nothing wrong in looking at external validation. I watch Pakistani reactions, also. And Korean.

Do you find OSR and Jaby genuine? If yes, why?

You're talking about Anmol Jamwal AKA Tried and Refused Productions I guess.

I myself have watched reaction videos a lot, but what Anmol said is also quite true. Why do we beg Westerners to react to our stuff?

Yes Indians also react to Hollywood movies, but we dont see any Indian who Americans/Europeans are begging for content. We dont see any Whites/Blacks/East Asians begging Indian Youtubers to review their movies.

That is the difference.

Then he should take it up with his audience instead of mocking the channels.

Or he should try to have more appealing content.

What he did made him come off incredibly jealous and extremely petty.

Because the gradual progression from reacting to trailers and songs to actually reviewing the movies is fairly easy to see. That actually takes effort, esp in a subtitled movie. The technical aspects of movie making being discussed is interesting to hear. And the reviews aren't all roses and butterflies. Jaby ended up taking hits from the Malayalam fans 😆. I'd watched some of the movie reviews from Indian reviewers, and they aren't half as informative, and some Indian channels are so blatantly in the tank/paid that it is embarrassing to watch. Even if there are few technical opinions, Pakistani Reacts is also lovely to watch because of the genuineness of the reactions.

Indian.critics konsa balanced views dete hain any ways.

Critics all over the world are fake.

Doesn't matter though. I only watch Jaby Koay for his reaction to trailers and action scenes.

That's a different question altogether. Anmol may or may not be jealous, but the points he raised (about the reaction channels capitalizing on Indians' need for Western validation) are not untrue, are they? Thata the question here.
