Okay how is a person who is religious and believes in what her religion teaches her stupid and dumb, while the non-religious "pseudo-intellectuals" are the smart ones? Cause it sounds cool is that it?

If you don't consider yourself stupid for having different beliefs then how come a person having counter beliefs than you can be considered stupid? this is what intolerance is!

One might believe in a higher entity that created the sun and the moon and can perish it all if He wanted to and the other might think that rainbows comes from unicorn's poop...beliefs are individualistic and nobody deserves to be bullied upon expressing it...Period!

Dude, she got called out because she made a farce of a situation. She is like any of those thousands of religious nutjobs, who believe since people didn't went according to their holy books, hence god is punishing them. And if people call that bullshit, than there is nothing wrong.

Yes certain people go overboard and start abusing, and that is unfortunate, but that is something which happens in the world with everyone who makes statements which doesn't please a certain sections of people. I mean, there are times when people are bashed for something they didn't mean that way, here she is at least bashed for something she meant.

And smart means people who show high degree of intelligence, and if someone is showing a blind belief towards something which isn't proven scientifically and logically, or in any intelligible manner is not a smart person. Locust attack is not due to warth of god, period. Anyone saying that or endorsing that isn't smart. Just because she speaks well doesn't mean I will believe her to be a totally smart girl. The thing is even if she is smart in certain things, she is not smart to post that post. That was a lapse of judgement.

Aye chal, don't stuff words in my mouth, and I never said people who are religious are not smart. I said people who validate absurd things using religion are not smart. Two different things.

And no, not being religious doesn't make people smart. A dumbass will remain dumbass, whether he has religion or not. Aur tolerance hone ka yeh matlab nahi ki, agar koi kuch bhi hagee in a public platform, please don't post couter arguments.
