It’s against everyone who are not White but they are especially racist against African American people . After South states like Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana lost the Civil War Americans enacted Jim Crow laws that would keep White and Blacks segregated (denied Blacks right to vote, get jobs, prevent White and Blacks from having interracial relationships etc ). Even then they used to do mob lynching against Black people if they refused to obey Jim Crows or on false accusations of raping White women ( aka older day Karens ). Laws don’t matter as much when it’s created to favor Whites and be biased against Black, Brown people . Blacks end up being in jail more often for petty crimes like marijuana possession. America might be a developed country but a lot of its wealth is concentrated on a small section of people( mostly White ) who fund political parties to maintain the White supremacy and maintain the racial divisions .

Empathy doesn't come by making one issue about race. It divides people.. one person was killed by policeman focus should hv been on civilian life lost. It would have gotten wider support and there was no need for violent protests..

Going to say it again . The stores are going to be fine . I have seen what stores are affected and I honestly care about people’s lives more . Stores most probably have their properties insured too or can get loans to fix their stuff . What truly matters now is Minneapolis District Attorney actually taking action against the cops otherwise it’s going to spread in more parts of US .

I will say it again as well. Violence doesn't get justice. Action definitely should be taken against that police officer, charge him for murder. But destroying shops and burning properties isn't justified.

It's not first time, In guise of justice and rally many time same looting , vandalising and violence has been done and everytime it's defended by woke ppl it don't matter ,lives matter 😆 , in the end it doesn't really matter how much you trend and speak if you do this in name of protest,now ppl who were empathic to your cause will be against you 😆

It's not as if looters are being Robinhood here and giving away the looted stuff to needy. They are taking advantage of such situation and in a way damaging or diluting the cause.
