It’s Black Lives Matter because the number of Black people who get arrested or killed has always been higher than other races in US. A Black guy got killed in Georgia while going out for jogging by a former white cop and his kid . I know it’s easy to dismiss a “Liberal” issue but please for once try to be empathetic .

All human lives matter. Not just black lives 🤦🏻‍♂️

Empathy doesn't come by making one issue about race. It divides people.. one person was killed by policeman focus should hv been on civilian life lost. It would have gotten wider support and there was no need for violent protests..

Action should definitely be taken against that policeman/ actually against all four of them. But that doesn't mean protestors destroying properties burning down places of business.

I have some news for you .Policeman in US never get disciplined . They are backed up by Police Unions and get often reinstated back to their jobs after being fired ( with pay for the period they were terminated). The cops who killed George Floyd were fired by the mayor and they haven’t been charged with unlawful murder yet . Do I agree with looting? No but I care about a guy being unfairly murdered in broad daylight and his perpetrators being punished more.

The racism against Black has always been there . It’s just more visible to the rest of the world now . It came out more in the open after Obama’s election and has just been getting progressively worse .

US has been divided forever by people who have use AllLivesMatter hashtag when Blacks trend Black lives Matter . It already has support except for the likes of Tomi Lahren, Tucker Carlson, Trump supporters etc who wouldn’t have supported it even if Blacks peacefully protested . The ones who are mad at at Target being looted were also mad when Colin Kaepernick peacefully protested . I have been following protest news since yesterday and they were not heated in the beginning but Minneapolis police started firing tearing gas which escalated the conflict .

See!! this time in bold part you didn't mention black guy. That's what I am saying rather than bring race into it Should hv been about a human life matters. No where I said i don't care about the unfair murder... Perpetrators should be punished as well. But what about looting and burning shops. Imagine people being laid off because of the damage of business in these shops. So in name of Justice these protestors are destroying others livelihood.. how is that justified?

It's not just 1 target store. You said you are following protest news so must be knowing about so many others stores(there is a list) were looted, put on fire and damaged.
