It feels so refreshing to return to this magical yet beautifully real pale blue dot, after a hiatus. Meeting Jodha and Jalal as lovable as we had left them, with their complex thoughts and dilemmas, simple gestures, and deepest affections was a reminder of why they, along with the rest of the cast and this tale had won the readers' hearts in the first place.
This chapter has the idyllic beauty of an opera, with apt parallels you've drawn between the rise and fall of musical choir, to raging thunderstorms outside, and a turbulent ocean of emotions wrecking havoc within Jodha.
The brief and lengthy conversations thereafter were so typical of you - witty, precise and profound.
It is true that unfinished tales have a different charm to them. Unlike finished tales which become fond memories and evoke a sense of nostalgia, these unfinished sagas, leave in their wake a myriad of possibilities - this could have happened, that would have turned out in this certain way. Every revisit offers a new outcome. But such flawed yet flawless folks from the pale blue dot do deserve a fitting closure, a happily ever after farewell, which I really would love you to give them.
Thank you so much for updating,
Adwitiya.
