Chapter 4: Her Care & His Enemy

~After 2 months~

It's been two months since Arjun joined in ETF, but still, he is the same "Touch Me Not, Stay Away" and Riya is still the same, not caring about his warnings. It is her routine to order his cutting-chai on a daily basis morning, evening, or when they are in the middle of the case, without being asked. Silently staring at him, when nobody watching her, looking at his expression when he is trying to solve the case. Just looking at his face she can understand, what is going on in his mind. The frown on his handsome face whenever she starts her bickering about the statistics and being cleanliness importance. Apart from case Arjun never almost never look at her.
Riya is not caring about this almost every time because she knows 'Something is always better than nothing'.Several years ago she is dreamt of being with him, now it's happening. He is with her in flesh and blood, Maybe not together, but with her. They are working together, she could see him on a daily basis without hurdles and What more she could ask for?. The small moments they are sharing with each other is sufficient, the accidental brushes of fingers whenever she passes the files or while giving his favorite cutting-chai and during the car driving while leaving for the day. These moments she will cherish forever in her existence.
For Rathod, it's her sympathy after knowing his past but for her friends, it's a crush whom she is trying to owe. But they didn't know this man stolen her heart without his knowledge several years ago. For her its love she is showing by taking care of him and his needs.

It's not always you have to verbalize about your love and feelings, it can be done with actions too without telling.

Arjun has a tiny idea about her feelings, he is thinking this will go away once she met her someone special in her life. Because when he tried to stay away from her, she is coming so close to him and he is not able to control It. Every step he takes back for staying away, she is move forwarding with each step.Its not that he accepted her, it's that he started to ignore. Because you can't tolerate ignorance from the people whom you want an attention. So he is following this way to keep her away from him.

During the car ride between her home in the evening or the rides between office to crime spot. It's either related to office or the case nothing more than that. Silence prevailed in the car rather than the talk. She would peacefully watch her surrounding he would peacefully drive the car. If one word anything related to personal stuff she faces the wrath. She faced it already most of the times.

ETF office.

It's just a normal day Riya, Sree, Chotu, Arjun, and Rathod are sitting inside the conference room, but Rathod is watching the door expectantly like he is waiting for someone's arrival. As he expected Commissioner Mukesh arrived with two females who are dressed in office attire. Everyone stood from their place after watching Commissioner is coming

" Good Morning team" the commissioner said while looking at ETF.

"Good Morning Sir" They all replied.

Pointing at the two girls who are standing beside him," Ayesha Kapoor Senior Inspector, Liza D'Cruz forensic expert and henceforth they will be a part of ETF"

He paused and continued " Ayesha was part of an undercover mission to expose drug dealing in Mumbai, but unfortunately the dealer Rahim died at the nick time, so she had to back out of her mission and Rahim was suspected to be linked with Atlaf"

Arjun fisted his hand tightly to control his anger, he knows who is this Atlaf and he was one of the members who murdered his wife Roshini. On the other side Riya is trying to remember that person's name and in a slight flash she recognized Atlaf name was mentioned in official Roshini's murder report.

Commissioner looked at Arjun and said, "I had a hope this would have led to an Altaf's leader, but unfortunately this mission was dropped"

This Arjun said," I will catch hold of him soon Sir, after all, I have some unfinished business with them"

Mukesh sir nodded his head and pointing towards Liza " This is Liza D'Cruz expert in forensic and chemist"

Sree shooting daggers at Liza side and muttered " Liza dead body doctor"

Mukesh goodbye them after introducing the two officers.

Sammer is looking at Ayesha proudly and said," Welcome to ETF Ayesha and Liza"

"Ayesha Sameer Damsingh Rathod reporting on duty, sir" Ayesha said with a hint of a smile.

The whole ETF looked at them shocked, ETF Chief Rathod and Ayesha have married already.

"What, Are you married to Rathod Sir," Sree asked hesitatingly to Ayesha.

Before Ayesha could reply, Sameer interrupted "Yeah, we are married about 8 months ago"

Arjun looked hurt, After listening to Sameer. Because his once best friend hidden his marriage identity and never tried to invite him for the marriage also.

Sameer saw Arjun's hurt face, it was just a flash of seconds and he masked it like always. He regrets his decision now, he should have invited Arjun for marriage, or at least he should have tried.

Riya saw Arjun's hurtful face, she felt bad for him. On the other hand Sree and Chotu are murmuring themselves.

Rathod thought to clear the confusion of the team, why he didn't invite them for the marriage.

"Sorry team, It was a private affair with close family members, and Ayesha had to go undercover mission on the next day of marriage itself and My intention is not to hide anything to you guys, but the situation made me do so," he said the last part while looking At Arjun.

"That's not a problem sir, We can understand and Congratulations," Riya said with a smile on her face.

"Congratulations Rathod Sir and Ayesha Mam" Choree screamed happily and Liza too wished her seniors.

Rathod and Ayesha smiled and thanked them for the wishes.

Rathod looked at Arjun expectantly, but he is silent for a few mins. While leaving the place Arjun Said" Congrats ......Sir and Ayesha".

Rathod sighed sadly and left in his cabin. Now Riya, Ayesha, Liza, Sree, and Chotu are sitting, but Sree looks at Liza murderously. The other three members looking at the scene weirdly.

"Liza dead body doctor, it suits you. Thank God, you didn't become a doctor to save people, otherwise, half the town would be in the graveyard. Sree smirked at her.

"Spiky Sen You shut up! At least I'm a doctor for a dead body, unlike some people who always bury their heads in some stupid systems" Liza also challenged him.

Others look at them surprisingly and said together, "You guys know each other?"

"No" Sree

"Yes" Liza

"Who wants to remember her irritating face and I cannot tolerate her" Sree said irritatingly.

Liza looked disturbed after hearing Sree, she faked her smile to him. Riya is looking at Liza's face from the time she came, there is some kind of happiness after looking at Sree, but she was hurt by the way Sree replied to her.

"Sree, say sorry to her right now! This is her first day at the office, don't be a spoiled brat.!" Riya ordered Sree.

"Ri, you are my friend not her" Sree pleaded

"Sree, Say sorry and then talk to me" Riya turned her face.

"Sorry Lizard" Sree tried to smile at Riya but she turned her face.

"Sorry Liza, Welcome to ETF" this time Sree said genuinely.

"Its okay Sree and Thank you" Liza smiled at him sweetly.

Ayesha smiled at the bond Riya is sharing with the boys. Soon everyone started to chat with each others like long lasting friends.

On the side, Arjun is watching Riya from his cabin, She is talking to new girls like she knew them for years or they were some childhood friends. This is not he first time, he has seen her talking to strangers like this, she even used to talk with the victim's family for many hours.Unlike him she would become friends with everyone quickly like almost instantly.

He looked at amusingly and muttered without his knowledge,"Is this girl crazy? How come someone can be so innocent? Like really?"

The moment is only for few Sec, and he came to reality rather too quickly and turned his head away from her.

Full day they were doing the paper work since they don't have any case today. While doing her work Riya realized important work and looked at Sree.

"Sree, I need your help to know about one software.!" Riya asked Sree.

"Besides Arjun sir, Statistics and cleanliness, when you started to show interest in softwares too? Sree teased her.

"Sree please" she looked at him puppingly.

"Okay,don't please me! What will I get after giving information about your so called software?" Sree raised his eyebrows.

"A brand new iPhone, I will ask Didi to send it from London!" She said almost instantly.

"Deal sealed, What is the name of the software?" Sree asked.

"Kill switch activation software and how it works for human" Riya looked at him.

"Where do you learn these kinda software name? Just 2 days, I will provide you the details" sree told her.

Riya nodded her head happily and thanked Sree for the help.

At 7 PM Rathod asked everyone to go home. Rathod and Sameer went together, Arjun dropped Riya and Liza to their homes and Choree left together.

At Sameer's Home

After freshening up, both Sameer and Ayesha are sitting at their bedroom sofa.

"I should have invited him for marriage or atleast I should have tried Ayeshu"Sameer said guiltily.

"Sam, Whatever happened in the past, we cannot change, but you can make things better now.

She paused for a moment,"Why don't you forgive him? ,He is not responsible for Roshini murder!"

"Arjun anger, attitude and arrogance are the main reason for her death and he is still not accepting the truth that there is no such Sikander exists in the world and it is all his illusion. Sameer said while looking at her.

Ayesha interlaced her fingers with him, and continued," No Sam, Somewhere I believe this Rahim is related to Atlaf and there is a talk that Atlaf is a right hand of underworld don".

"How it is possible that underworld don could be Sikander?" Sameer said her while tightening his hold on her.

"Because Rahim and the men are tattooed with some symbol on nape of their neck,the symbol is 'S' and Rahim was killed at the nick of time before the drug dealing.The surprising fact is that he was died, but no blood, no mark on his body and Atlaf arrival to India was cancelled.Don't you think? , there is something which is there in front of us, but we couldn't see the fact!."

"How do we confirm that 'S' tattoo Symbolizes 'Sikander' Sameer further asked.

"That we have to find out soon" Ayesha said.

"Ayeshu, I'm very proud of you! You managed to stay with those ba****** for 6 months,I Couldn't imagine if something happens to you! , You are a strong lady" Sameer proudly at her.

"Yes, Sameer's lady" She hugged him tightly and buried her face in his chest.Sameer hugged her tightly and kissed at her hair affectionately.

Somewhere in the world.

A well built man in mid of the 30's with glazing gray eyes, watching on the flashing news of human trafficking case in India.

"Interesting, Arjun is back with a bang" He repeatedly watches the recorded news from the past few months.

At the same time, A man in a black suit entered the room and he is looking like scared of something.

"Sorry Sik, I didn't know that girl belongs to the police department, and she tricked Rahim so convincingly like she is a true henchman.That was the reason, I planned to go India for that dealing" He tried to defend himself.

"You idiots,How many times I told not to believe strangers Atlaf?" Sik screamed at him.

"Sik, She was perfect at work and she had instantly earned a good name from everyone, How did you confirm she is from the police force?" Atlaf asked confusingly.

"So simple my man,Do you remember after she came into the picture, all our drug dealing and other business was going downhill.I just matched her face with intelligence department records all over the world, and thankfully, I had her picture which was sent by Rahim after she joined."

"You guess,her pretty face perfectly matched with the database of India's intelligence department records" Sik said while typing away the codes in the machine.

Atlaf looked at him," Wow Sik, you did a great job killing Rahim, without moving from here"

"I had no option left Atlaf, I had to kill him and he deserved to die, after making me worry for my business unnecessarily." Sik said determinedly.

"Don't worry Sik,Now we don't have any problem" Atlaf said similingly.

"No,We have and this time it is going to be my darling 'ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte'" He said while looking at pics which were lying on the table.

"Wha..t? How it is possible? He is not in force and You will let him win over you?" he is waiting for Sik to speak.

"He joined ETF two months ago and like last time I would never let him win over me and I will meet him at the right time to steal everything from him including his life"

Sik laughed cunningly while looking at Arjun picture, Soon both the men laughed evilly together.

The fourth part of "All in Me" is out. Please read the chapter and do let me know your thoughts on the same.
