Is it just me or does anyone else here also feel that for someone who values their self respect and family's respect a lot, Prachi sure was out of character in the beginning with respect to Abhi? Sure,Prachi isn't like other leads who keep saying self respect is important but doesn't act accordingly,she has shown it. I get that she is in awe with Abhi as a father and he did support her. But is his support enough? The way Aliya insulted Prachi when she was planning her anniversary or especially during diwali party, Aliya was literally going to throw her out. She insulted Prachi,her mom,her upbringing in front of everyone and she has always jumped on to hate Prachi. Why would she still keep going back to Mehra mansion? And Prachi doesn't know that Abhi is her father obviously,any normal person in her position would have backed out knowing that the guy's real daughter is feeling insecure and uncomfortable with their relationship. I get that Prachi wants someone like Abhi to be her father, but if rhea isn't comfortable with it then she should have backed out. And also after all this,they could have just let her work with Disha so she doesn't have to go through drama again ever in her life but there'd be no story in that case I guess. Nevertheless,they could show Prachi still working under Vikram but not going to their house.

Maybe later once the bet is revealed or the kohlis wrong her because of manipulations,they might show her quitting and working with disha. Let's see

I feel like Dida dotes on him more than pallavi. Dida is far more protective of him than Pallavi that's why no one told her about ranbir's arrest for beating up nick. So him loving his mom more than Dida also doesn't make sense but I get what you mean.

For once they have shown the guy's family to be normal and sensible and not a single person is evil or has low opinions on middle class people. I hope they stick to it. Aliya and Rhea will definitely manipulation Pallavi, that's for sure but ultimately Pallavi has no negative intentions towards Prachi,her love for Ranbir surpasses everything. So if they show Prachi as a manipulative,evil woman or a cheater for Ranbir in front of Pallavi then she'd definitely fall for it. But ultimately truth will be out and when it is Pallavi isn't someone who is very egoistic or anything, she'd definitely accept Prachi with open arms whole heartedly. Her weakness is her son and Aliya and Rhea know that. But Aliya also has a lot of secrets to protect and let's see how she handles everything.

I'm still hoping that pallavi remains in prachi's camp. Had enough of this silly trope. No need to ruin pallavi. But I can already see that writers will make pallavi against prachi in future to hinder pranbir love story, that's why all of a sudden through this maya track they showed pallavi for first time showing dislike for prachi 😒

You correctly said yourself... they wouldn't have a story if they went by this logic. And I guess its because apart from aliya and rhea, everyone else trusts and respects her so she find the environment less hostile for that reason.

If you go see from rhea's point of view, she does have a reason to be insecure. That doesn't excuse her evil plans though.

There's a good chance Aliya has been manipulating Rhea all along when she was a kid indirectly implying her mom left her and chose the other kid and she doesn't love her enough causing Rhea to be much more possessive about the Mehras and the kohlis and especially abhi. And Rhea was the star of abhi's eyes like he always sees her as an angel who can do no wrong until prachi came along. Prachi reminded abhi of pragya and the possibility that she might be like his older daughter he never met so he treated her as a long lost daughter. Which didn't sit well with Rhea. And then Ranbir,who claimed he was in love with Rhea and was even ready to break prachi's heart for her, fell for Prachi when Rhea was just beginning to fall for him back. And she should have just gone and confronted him but instead she bumped into aliya who herself doesn't know what's wrong and right,made Rhea realize that only what she wants matters and it doesn't matter if the other person doesn't feel the same way. Mehra mansion has so many people yet rhea is mostly influenced only by Aliya. It's beyond me to understand how abhi lets Aliya influence Rhea.

But it's never been shown that rhea acknowledges that she has a twin. Literally never have they shown any mention or hint she knows. I wish they would touch upon it.

It was shown that she is pissed at her mom for going away with the other kid and abandoning her which is why she is very possessive of abhi. So we'll get to see her opinion about her twin only when she comes face to face with her.

Wait really? I don't remember any scene where rhea acknowledged she has a twin that her mother left with. Rhea has only ever talked about her mother leaving her, but has never said anything about her mother leaving with her twin or choosing her twin over her.

A scene should be shown for rhea where we get better insight on whether she knows about her twin, because at this point to me from remembering all past scenes of rhea, rhea has never even been shown acknowledging her elder sister kiara. It's why this whole rhea rant about being daughter of abhi annoys me because they never show if she acknowledges she is not the only daughter of abhi.

I remember it was only her mother leaving her that was mentioned as the reason for her possessiveness for abhi... not mention of any of her siblings was mentioned by her or anyone as the reason for her behaviour.
