Only very few celebrated (old - mythological getting highest ; relatively new of the 2000s - contemporary drama, getting at least decent if not high trps) shows are fetching numbers due to repeat value. That's it. If Big Boss would have their contestants locked down in the house even that would have had sky rocketing trps because people would watching it now. Also lets not forget 99% of the country is locked at home and which is why that's too adding to the TRPS. Once all things fall normal and everyone starts going to work trps will be falling as most will be at their workplaces rather in front of tv. 🤷‍♀️

Also news channels too are getting higher than usual ratings much higher than election times. Now that doesn't mean because their content is awesome and mindblasting and contemporary drama shows won't run etc... it's only because people have no other option but to watch them 🤣

Watching news channels is an unwanted compulsion. 🤧😭🤣

IF they air good episodes catering to the viewers and promote it well, numbers will definitely return.
