I too think Saniya Saeed deserves lead roles, but sadly ..only few dramas have strong 40+ female lead roles. Saniya can't just sit at home waiting for good projects, she has to work for a living. If Hina Bayat and Atiqa Odhu can play mothers on screen, then why shouldn't Saniya?😕

I didn't watch this week's episode. But the precap was hilarios. Shahjahan told Naeem that one talaaq isn't considered talaaq.. so he can reconcile with Meher. How could he know that the sadist Naeem will go and give Meher 3 talaaqs in front of everybody.😲😆

so now 3 talaaqs are done? but he gave it all at once so the third talaaq doesnt count yet right?

I read that in all sunni mazhabs ( including Abu Hanifa) 3 talaaqs at once count as 3. Also in Pakistani dramas they count it as 3 talaaqs. And it is clear that Naeem isn't willing to reconcile with Meher, so even if it is the second talaaq, I don't see him return her in the period of 3 months which is her iddat.😊

Yes thats the hanafi view but the majority of opinion says that it only counts as one talaaq until its given in the 3 separate periods (iddat) so technically if one month has passed and Naeem gave her second talaaq after that, they have one month left to reconcile or divorce.

They did their research..and they follow Hanafi mazhab. Even Malki, Shafei and Hanbali say the same. I searched and my hubby too did. So the majority of Sunna who follow the 4 aiymma count 3 talaaqs as 3.

but the scholars of Saudi Arabia do not agree with this

See. There are 2 different cases which ppl misunderstand. Allama Ibn Baaz (the biggest Saudi schooler ) was talking about a man saying: I divorce you trice (means by this word trice and not repeating the word talaaq).. and not that who says talaaq, talaaq , talaaq. According to him, if he says talaaq 3 times. So it is done. And it counts as 3. 😊

So a person should be carefull to not commit the mistake of saying 3 talaaqs at once.

Also a woman should be considered in this matter. Will a woman be happy reconcilling with a husband who gave her 3 talaaqs at once? 😕
