So I shared.lol yeah that was weird and I Didn't get that either. It's not like women bond with each other only sexually and has no pyar or rishta or friendships other are of non sexual nature. ..

Waise ek baat bolon aaj kal na logon ko naya shauk chada hai woke banane ka and har koi khud ko LGBT community ka messiah samjhne laga hai. I personally feel har cheez main aise sexuality ka issue lana wahan bhi jahan it's not even present bohat ajeeb. Aise aise random essays likh dete hain based on assumptions aise toh dunya ka har interaction hi ek dum scandalized ho jaaye. Har dosti har ehsaas hi kharab ho jaaye. Honestly this new wave of we are woke is soooo annoying to say the least because it's so forced. There's a difference between being open minded and welcoming and being a preacher and ghusedo it everywhere and that's what I have a problem with esp by the woke people who somehow end up making everything about one's preference. Also aajkal mandatory bana dia hai har jagah ek gay/lesbian couple daalna sach bolon toh ab overdone ho gaya hai and seems just to check a box. Hardly even comes under "woke"content either when it is so zabardasti. What I also don't understand is why every person has to announce their preference aaj kal dhindora peet ke? Why can't it be kept to themsleves or their options Like it seriously has become a trend.

That being said i understand queers ki struggle for acceptance too and I have no issues with actual people choosing whoever they want to be with. 🤷‍♀️

Ehhh to me her dressing never triggered it either caz what's wrong if she dressed in a more masculine ways har koi nahi bana sawra reh sakta sexuality doesn't matter. Matlab iss tarah toh yeh log abida praveen ko bhi queer bolein ge caz she always wore masculine kurtas and was far away from beauty standards 😆

I totally agree that everything in society has been hypersexualized now....it's like people feel an obligation to bring sexual undercurrents to every manner of interaction....whether it's straight or gay.

Ab in music videos ko hi dekh lo....you're right ki why is the fact that Falguni wore those kind of clothes being used as some kind of "proof" of how much gay subtext there was in the music video? What is the difference between this and fan fiction then? I get the need for people whether gay or straight, white or black to try to look for icons in pop culture.....but yeh toh woh baat ho gayi ki jo saamne hai bhi nahin, usko khud se imagine kar ke sach maan lo.

If society really is evolved enough now for everyone to be allowed their choice for how they want to dress, how they want to live, then why does everything need to be made into a slogan and declaration? Then it does end up feeling like an imposition especially when people try to twist things like they are with this music video interpretation.

I guess maybe it's harder for us to understand why they do this cuz we aren't in their shoes in terms of how they are struggling to formulate an identity....but at the same time, creating an alternate reality in your head isn't the solution either.....just my opinion.

I have just never been a fan of this hyper fanfiction culture that's gained steam in the last 10-15 years....woh Sherlock waale show mein bhi there was a huge fandom that created their own imaginary love story of Sherlock-Watson and badly wanted the makers to turn them gay.....LOL matlab hadh hai.....just cuz you're gay, you can't force straight characters to become gay....come on, man.

Anyways, you can't reason with these things cuz ab clickbait ka bhi zamaana hai....as you said, the concept of "wokeness" has been twisted around simply to get attention in the fastest way possible....without actually thoughtfully talking through issues.

And in some ways, it defeats their cause when now all shows are adding token gay love stories which literally all have the same copy/paste angle....matlab it's clear it's been added in simply to check off a box rather than thoughtfully putting something in per the needs of the story....upar se then the extra tadka of titilation as well.....woh Made in Heaven also got like this after a point with woh main guy ke endless lovers ke saath endless scenes and that is why I was zoning out somewhat.....lol

True empowerment is about owning your choices without needing to gaado a jhandaa every 2 minutes, that's just my opinion.

Good riddance 👏😆

If the one good thing that comes out of this lockdown is that ITV doesn’t have the budget anymore to make shitty supernatural Daayan, naagin, jinn shows, then it will actually be a blessing 🙏.

Totally agree. It's really amazing how people form these assumptions in their head and then they don't stop there but are convinced ke wohi sirf sach hai and now everyone should beleive it and if not they are bullied. Sherlock ka toh idk but desi side pe bhi anybody of same sex being remotely friendly or comfortable with each other is now considered being gay. Like come on man. Just stop and not ruin every handshake every hug by forming these assumptions and then pushing them like even in war the whole Khalid and kabir thing is soooooo ott it was funny like the first 2,3 days but then it became irritating. Yeah Khalid was impressed by kabir and they showed it cheekily with him being impressed by the looks with the staring him in his entry scene but that doesn't make them gay esp when it was a boss and his aid hardly anything in sexual content. Like how hard is it for him to be actually impressed and considering kabir his idol in field. Why can't it be done in a more cheeky way. As if girls don't check out other girls who look good in a non sexual context.

lol so this show continues on as an endless cycle of people cheating on each other? 😆

Maybe it’s a good thing Broken ended in 2 seasons then. Ekta is more interested in endless seasons of such faltu storylines.

Exactly faltu stretching and faltu ke reasons for breakups and makeups everytime just so they can keep stretching. Kuch nahi hai characters main yahan.
