The TRP system never changed ( talking about Barc).

Barc made some modifications in the sample data last year by adding more households. Barc came into existence in April-May 2015.

Last year TRAI new regulations came into the play. Colors channel suffered a lot and even dropped to the number 4 and 5. Rishtey was a free to air channel from the Viacom 18 network. It was made into a pay channel with a fee of Re 1.

Once the new changes were implemented Naagin 3 also dropped and didn't touch 4, that I agree.

Exactly. You have said it all. Since the implementation of TRAI order, no indian show has been able to achieve the magical mark of 4.

The TRP system has not changed.

It's just that people are paying for what they want to watch.
