Beautiful song; track of the year is here
No, Rahul's love was obsession not a healthy feeling, but a toxic one. She could never have lived with such a man, whose feelings bordered on manic. She would have seen right through that.
The character of Rahul did become a rage that time but looking back he was dangerous and criminal. Rahul was not in love with Kiran, he was obsessed with her and wanted to own her at any cost. Love is not forcing someone or hurting someone. Probably mental illness that needed treatment.
He scared Kiran like anything with the phone calls and attack on Sunil. He was warped up.
Corrected to Kiranđł
First of all ,,,,what a brilliant performance by SRK in Darr...one of his best.âď¸..Imagine a guy who is one of the best orators of BW and can literally make women drool with reciting poetry and dialogues being called hakla because of his KKKKK..iran...đ
.He had the courage and the need to do a negative role at that time...and it worked for him...
Coming to what kind of BF/husband Rahul would have been?? An obsessed, dangerous and controlling one....and no one deserves that kind of hubby......His love for Kiran had moved into a negative territory of obsession....where he didn't care about her but only about his feelings for her...so he was selfish too....He deserved the end shown in the movie.

I cried tears of BLOOD for Rahul in Darr. I then proceeded to replay his song âJadhu Tere Nazarâ to cry some more. No matter how evil or good SRKâs character is in the movie, Iâve always grieved for his death far more than Paro or Chandramukhi ever did.
Logically, my mind told me that Rahul was a horrible obsessed man. I knew he deserved that kind of ending. But damn it to hell, SRKâs mental vulnerability (despite being so evil) had me freaking feeling sorry for him! That was how powerful his acting was in the movie. The audience (for the most part) even felt sympathy towards him.
So Iâve decided to embrace my dark and biased side and admit that I lowkey wished Sunny Deolâs character died. Horrible I know. Totally admitting how awful I am. But hey, I just want all the characters to die after the actor I like dies in the movie. LMFAO letâs all have a moment of silence and thank the lord that I never pursued becoming a movie producer đ¤Ł
I think it had a lot of peopleâs feeling sorry for him. I didnât know better so I was rooting for him when I first seen the movie. I even got upset when he died I remember but now I know that was justified given he wouldnât have stopped at nothing. The man was nuts and he wouldnât have let Kiran live in peace as long as he lived. I donât think even prison wouldâve helped in this case. He had to die for his chapter to end and for Kiran to breathe.Originally posted by: FingerFetish

Hundred percent he had to die. Logically and with my sanity intact, I completely agree with you. Iâm just a sick piece of dung sometimes, so Iâd rather everyone just die in the movie if the actor/actress I like dies. Please judge me and send me to an institute. I need help đ
Oh, I wouldâve preferred all to die too. I did NOT want Sunny and Kiran together regardless of crazy Rahul was. I wouldâve loved such ending so I donât think you need help at all. đOriginally posted by: FingerFetish

That s not love its obession and i would say kiran did really dodged a bullet by not dating rahul
One of Shah Rukh's best performances! Shah Rukh waa fantastic and I liked how he remained the negative male lead than portraying him as the hero. He was psychic and the obsessions are well articulated as per the script.
