COVID-19 ESSENTIAL INFORMATION.

All people should stay home to avoid contact with people who are infected by COVID-19. However, it is also important to be aware of what you are touching, especially on high-touch surfaces, and be careful about cleaning your hands after touching things. Implement a routinely clean on any high-touch surfaces, such as door handles and toilets. Use regular home cleaners, including bleach solutions and alcohol solutions of at least 70% alcohol.

Home caregivers for people with suspected or confirmed #COVID19 should:

1. Ensure that the infected person is isolated in a separate room if possible

2. Ensure the ill person rests , drinks plenty of fluids and eats nutritious food.

3. Wear a medical mask when in the same room with an ill person. Do not touch the mask or face during use and discard it afterward.

4. Frequently clean hands with soap and water or alcohol-based rub, especially:

• after any type of contact with the ill person or their surroundings

• before, during and after preparing food

• before eating

• after using the toilet

5. Use dedicated dishes, cups, eating utensils, towels and bed-linens for the ill person. Wash dishes, cups, eating utensils, towels, or bed-linens used by the ill person with soap and water.

6. Identify frequently touched surfaces by the ill person and clean and disinfect them daily.

7. Call your health care facility immediately if the ill person worsens or experiences difficulty breathing.

If you are pregnant, you can help protect yourself against CORONA VIRUS by:

✔ Washing your hands frequently

✔ Keeping space between yourself and others

✔ Avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth

✔ Practicing respiratory hygiene

When to use masks?

• If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected #coronavirus infection.

• Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing

Here is the info regarding the news ---

A new study done by two Indian scientists has found that the novel coronavirus has mutated into 10 different types, with the A2a strain replacing the other strains of the virus rapidly across the world.

A study conducted by Indian scientists found that the SARS-CoV-2 virus has mutated into 10 different types. The scientists found one type is emerging as the dominant strain across the world.

Kolkata: A global study done by two Indian scientists has found that the novel coronavirus has mutated into 10 different types, with one of them replacing the other strains of the virus rapidly across geographical regions, including India. The A2a has emerged as the dominant strain worldwide by March-end, taking over from the other 10 types of the virus, said the study.

The study conducted by Partha Majumder and Nidhan Biswas from the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), Kalyani, West Bengal, would help in the fight against COVID-19 which currently has no cure. The findings may help researchers in developing vaccines as well as determining the presence of co-existence of type A2a with other types in some regions.

The scientist analyzed the genome sequence of the type A2a strain and found that a specific mutation with the strain enables the A2a virus to be highly efficient in entering human lung cells, perhaps, in larger numbers as compared to other types. According to the authors, the SARS-CoV-2 virus with A2a mutation is systematic in transmission and as a consequence, COVID-19 spread rapidly across the world. Initially, India and many other countries received the ancestral O type from China, however, the virus acquired mutations and evolved into 10 different strains over time, and with the A2a replacing other types in most countries. This means the new 10 types have evolved from the earliest type 'O' from China.

“To live, a virus must propagate by infecting other animals. A mutation usually disables the virus from transmitting itself said Majumder. However, some mutations enable the virus to transmit more efficiently and infect more persons. “Such mutant viruses increase the frequency (of transmission) and sometimes completely replace the original type of the virus. The SARS-CoV-2 is doing just that,” he added.

The scientists discovered that the A2a mutation also caused a change in the makeup of the spike protein, easily allowing it to cling to other surface proteins of the lung cell. The novel coronavirus uses spike protein to infect a cell.

For the study, the scientists used RNA sequences of more than 3,600 coronaviruses collected from 55 countries beginning December 2019 till April 2020. They also accessed the RNA sequence data in a public database called, GISAID, shared by researchers from across the world studying the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

A small sample of RNA sequences taken from COVID-19 patients in India showed that the A2a type accounted for 47.5 percent of samples, said the study. The researchers also found that many people with type A2a have no known travel history to foreign countries. The scientists, however, noted that more samples of RNA sequences are required before coming to a conclusion on whether the A2a type is the most common strain in India.

The findings, which will be published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research, a peer-reviewed journal published by the Indian Council of Medical Research, could help researchers in their efforts towards finding a vaccine against coronavirus.

TikTok ban hua to 40% Indians ki jaan nikal jaayegi. I don't know which but long ago a professor from my coaching class told that Indians buy Chinese products most and we should not buy them as they are our hidden enemies. Indian govt should ban these 4 apps. Why? Because China is earning lots of money from that which in turn contributes to ruin other countries including ours. Still many TV stars are using the app and even many movie stars. And then they spread awareness of coronavirus. One of the famous teenage star who is also a famous TV actress who is in my dp still uses TikTok and recently started using Kwai too. I like her as an actress as I love her character in the show but she and others need to understand that being public figures with lots of followers they should act responsible. And many Indian Tik Tokers are making sarcastic corona contents not realizing that the same app is from the prime culprit country and their content of badmouthing the app owner country can be monitored and make that country angry on our country. And Ranveer Singh and Neena Gupta still doing Chings Chinese ads. Yes Chings is Indian brand but still Chinese dishes ka hi to hai na.

Simple solution ..

Government needs to ban tiktok..kai nations mein tiktok ban hai so Indian govt ko aisa karna chahiye...china khud ke phones, applications use karta hai so why can't Indian government do that ..

But big problem ...corruption...humare yahan jo bhi sarkar banata hai, jo bhi mantri hai woh aapne fayade ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hai ..so less chance ki Chinese ban hoga ..

China agar angry ho bhi gayi tho Kya farak padega woh kabhi bhi india se happy nahi ho sakta...they want to capture northern india ..

Ranvir Singh ya neena gupta ke add na karne se koi aur usse kar lega..Chinese khana log khana thodi band karege..bas shart yeh ki woh china mein na bana ho 😂...
