Hopefully you and your family recovers very soon and be healthy again....🤗

Have you got tested after recovery? Have been hearing about relapses in news for patients already been recovered...be careful and stay calm....

Based on what she wrote in her post she has not been tested at all 😆...As her husband was tested positive, and she has symptoms ,she is termed as "positive" even without testing...Ideally she should be tested 😆..but again she is likely positive...Idk why she has not been tested yet...i think bcz of lack of enough test kits in her country .

@bold

Until positive patient tested negative (twice) again, ideally we shouldnt even call it as "Recovery" 😆

yeah...now that you mentioned, i realized that Wisal didn't get herself tested. Somehow that just slipped off my brain or I assumed she got tested and thats why she said she had corona....

even though the symptoms might be less or negligible, I think there a chance that a person might still have the virus inside their body. Until and unless as you mentioned about testing negative twice after testing positive, there is no way sure that the body is devoid of virus...

Thanks Rohini and Nihara❤

We are feeling much better, just can't get rid of the darned cough.

Testing for coronavirus in the UK has been shambolic to say the least! Its difficult to imagine us as a developed country during this health crisis because our response has been so poor. My husband was only tested because his job role sits under the key worker category. Forget being tested for recovery, his senior manager called him on day 8 of his illness and was trying to pressurise him to return to work. If you exhibit signs of coronavirus you can call 111 (non emergency nhs number) and they tell you to take paracetamol, stay hydrated, rest and self isolate for 14 days. That's the most help you can get. The only way you can get tested is if you land up seriously ill in accident and emergency or if you are rich and famous! There was no chance of me being tested unless I became seriously sick. This is the reason I don't bother reading the daily briefings. The stats of people Infected with the virus are completely wrong. The figure is far greater. I feel behind the scenes they are still aiming for herd immunity. However all the recent evidence suggests very few people are building any immunity or antibodies to this virus. Not sure about India but if the lockdown continues for too long in the UK our economy will collapse anyway so there will be no NHS to protect. Such strange times.......

How are you and your families? Hopefully all safe. What's testing like your end? The few news articles I have read appears to show South Asian countries dealing with it better than we are.

Glad to know that you and your family are doing better Wisal 🤗....Take care...this is really strange times for all of us!

I read that U.K. govt. response to the pandemic and management has been poor.So i guessed it must be difficult to your family..

Testing in India, i can't talk about all states..

Regarding my state, the state govt. was so careless in the beginning ...it didnt take pandemic seriously...They tried to quarantine only foreign returnees in the beginning and later they started isolating Delhi returnees and their primary contacts by contact tracing.

In my District, govt. is good at isolating .. I mean municipal volunteers visit houses in red zones and ask about travel history, symptoms and any contact with positive patients ...Many and many members have been quarantined as lock down has been poorly managed many are suspected to get infected..The number of tests did are not sufficient when you look at such large number of members in Quarantine...Testing should be increased...Even in India ( including my place) Many ppl are there who tested positive but they are displaying very less numbers on paper 🤔

Regarding me, My district collector effed up my district big time...In my colony ,Vegetable shops and everything has been closed as it is in red zone, collector gave us some phone numbers saying everything will be delivered at door but nothing is happening.we have to go kilometres to bring groceries ,so everyone is still roaming on the roads...In my colony One Auto comes daily once at random timing to provide only vegetables for 20 mins , 50 ppl crowd around Auto..Social distancing thrown out of the window .Unless we expose to large crowd,we dont get vegetables...My mother being diabetic didnt even took food properly from two days bcz of lack of vegetables or milk ! Upar se this hot summer is not helping 😵Sorry for the long rant..i was totally fed up today...needed some ranting.

In my place, everyone is interested in religious wars blaming each other religions or interested in politics/elections when this is the time for everyone being united and get through the tough situations : (

*edit:

Never mind. I posted personal stuff as usual in an impulse.. So had to edit.. lol

Initially when the positive patients were discharged after testing negative once, they tested positive again after 2-3 days of discharge.. So they started discharging after testing negative twice with gap of 24 hrs between two (negative) tests. But again they are adviced to quarantine themselves in home for 14 days after discharge eventhough they tested negative twice.

Actually every information is unclear at this point as they still have to expand testing even to check enough data on recovery. Everything is related to number of tests at this point. So it's important to increase testing.

Yesterday some 94 positive patients were discharged at a time from single hospital saying they tested negative twice. It's so fishy 😕 I mean every two bodies respond differently to this virus.. Then how all those patients tested negative at the same time😕😆

Good to read that you guys are doing better....take care Wisal...🤗

Since I live a gated community, our management has setup more stricter rules. We are not supposed to be roaming inside our society.....all support staff have been relieved and few who are absolutely need for maintenance/security are mostly staying in our society. We have a vegetable store, supermarket and drug store inside our society which are open every day during day time and we have to book our slots every day to go there. Only one -two persons inside drug store and 4 ppl inside super market are allowed inside at a time all with masks and all standing 100m apart...we have volunteers who see that our society members dont flaunt rules and then we have a telegram channel where all information about the govt orders/new developments are being posted. Only ppl who deliver milk and water are being allowed inside the society. also residents who are travelling in and out of the society are being monitored too...I must say these ppl are working really hard to make sure we get all essentials on time....

About govt, I must say they are trying ...I know it bcoz my MIL returned from Malaysia on 15th March to Hyderabad. They did a thermal screening at the airport before allowing her into the city. But they didn't tell her anything about home quarantine...but still she didn't go out at all....but almost a week later things became serious and govt began tracking all the foreign returned persons....we got calls from GHMC(Hyderabad municipality and govt docs) checking on her. GHMC persons visited my home to check if we had any symptoms...they have stamped by MIL hand about 15 day quarantine period and stuck a big note outside my apartment that my home is under self quarantine. Our society ppl helped with getting food and essentials through out the period. my MIL passport was collected by govt(not sure why they did that knowing that all foreign travels are currently suspended). We used to get calls from multiple govt officials all asking about our details and our condition for every 2-3 days. They even asked to upload my MIL photo every day and update her health online.... My FIL got too much irritated and angry bcoz lot of ppl used to call and ask questions..but I felt that this is a unknown territory even for govt and they are trying. Of course there is no co-ordination between various govt departments but we as citizens should atleast be answering them even if over and over again for few days as all those ppl coming to our houses are putting their lives at risk and we can atleast be not angry on them for trying to do things for govt....anyways thats a different issue but it reflects our society and the ppl and their thinking...I dont know why ppl fail to understand those govt officials are putting their lives at risk and all we are doing is answering the same queries multiple times to multiple ppl? I have felt that we can do that much...anyways I am only telling you here but I never opened my mouth in my home 😁 no use there....🤣

sorry for a big essay.....😆

on a different note, twitter of the ITV fans is still the same...just now saw both the FDs blaming each other for bashing/s*** shaming and the fight is still going on....😕😲

we are in such difficult situations and still fds are fighting about actors/celebs and fans ? still posting SSs of the discussions and then fighting over them...and my head started spinning....gosh I feel like even if this world is going to end and every one is going to die these ppl never will leave fighting and calling each other hypocrites....🤦

and these actors ,most of them are getting on my nerves... gosh they are posting pics of cleaning/washing/cooking with makeup on and costumes ? like really who does jadu/poocha wearing makeup ? really ? and with poses ? are u cleaning your house or posing for photos to get likes ?😵 and making it like they are doing a lot of hardwork....for common ppl like us cooking/cleaning is our daily routine life and we do it every day...I have absolutely lost interest in celebs in these corona times...

Lol Even my brother is living in gated community in Hyderabad, so everything is available for him .Upar se in Banglore and Hyderabad, online orders are also still allowing I have my close relatives in Banglore, they are ordering everything online including medicines. Everything is delivered at home for them in Banglore. In my District, online ordering also has been prohibited from one month. My brother has been worried for us from 10 days. When there was a rumour about lifting lockdown for 5 days after April14 ,he looked naive when he said he will come and take all of us three with him.. Lol. He is still thinking to take us after May 3 .. Oh god I couldn't stop laughing as no one will be allowed in my district anytime soon🤣

.. Even no one will be allowed in Hyderabad anytime soon😆

In my colony foreign returnees, Delhi returnees are more in number toh red zone pe hai. Upar se my district is worsely affected from past 15 days but still both our CM and collector effed up the situation big time. In my district, ppl are not even getting medicines in Drug stores when they call for Paracetomol and other drugs like antibiotics, they are saying stock is over and also their numbers are noting down as they are suspecting that ppl with symptoms are hiding in homes . Even other important medicines are hardly available that too they get those imp medicines only if they show Doc's prescription.

Upar se ppl are very careless in my place. If they don't form crowd and take vegetables maintaining distance, it would be easy for everyone. But nah. They are more than happy to roam on the roads. In the beginning, police used to be strict. Idk what happened to police and what they are doing from 10 days. There are crowds everywhere in vegetable markets 🥱

.

And I have to say, Telangana CM KCR is doing much better job than our CM when it comes to controlling spread. KCR wanted to extend lock down until June 3 even before Modi announcing anything. But our CM has been desperate to lift lock down on May 3. Even in the beginning he announced lock down of schools and everything in our state much later than in Telangana 🤔
