How can a normal girl with apparently no psychological disorder her age not know how to make tea even with clear instructions?
Lol I relate to this. I am older than Mahjabeen yet I cannot, for the life of me make some simple things. Until her age I definitely couldn't make tea because it's not something I drink. Till this day, I still cannot make an omelette even with clear instructions and demonstrations. Just yesterday my brother was laughing at me struggling. I have never attempted a fried egg in my life so definitely wouldn't be able to make that with instructions and only recently got the hang of boiling rice properly.
For someone like Mahjabeen and many others, if they never had to do something in their life, how do you expect them to know how? Even with instructions, a person doesn't always pick something up on the first try. I know it takes me a few tries sometimes.
You have such high expectations of people. You are on the internet so a bit of browsing will show you images of people failing at the simplest of cooking and tasks. Google cooking/baking fails. It's mind-boggling how people can fail so spectacularly at the simplest of tasks - Mahjabeen isn't an outlier. Having a mental disability is not a criteria for not knowing or picking up on something right away.
