Okay! Of course, how can Drau be DuhshasanšŸ˜†. My mind is frozen to even think of the scenario. All the elders of the family sitting as mute spectators, amidst all the kinsmen and her husbands.

Is this how it is in the text? I mean Pandavas were asked to disrobe themselves too?

As per the text, as far as I know, the servants were not supposed to wear upper garment.

So Pandavas were asked to remove their royal upper garments.

Draupadi according to them was a dasi and hence asked to remove her upper garment too.

The problem was that Draupadi was clad in a single cloth since she was menstruating.

And she refused.

Then the scenario happened 🤢

And also, Karna instigated and provoked and finally Vastraharan was attempted.

Yes. Everyone's robes were taken off.

O Dussasana, this Vikarna speaking words of (apparent) wisdom is but a boy. Take off the robes of the Pandavas as also the attire of Draupadi. Hearing these words the Pandavas, O Bharata, took of their upper garments and throwing them down sat in that assembly. Then Dussasana, O king, forcibly seizing Draupadi's attire before the eyes of all, began to drag it off her person."

^ This was said by Karna.

Wretch Duryodhan wanted Draupadi to clean the chambers and live with other serving women. This man with his physically/morally blind father was a curse on the Kuru clan and the kingdom.

Duryodhan was actually the incarnation of demon Kali.

Duryodhana said,--'Come, Kshatta, bring hither Draupadi the dear and loved wife of the Pandavas. Let her sweep the chambers, force her thereto, and let the unfortunate one stay where our serving-women are.'

Okay! This is interesting. He really humiliated them. Incarnation of the demon Kali. That is why he was so full of the venom of jealousy, hatred, low-wit and insecurity.

Thank you, Shruti!

Then wouldn't she be told to remove in her room? It's common sense to understand what would be their next step. Har cheez thodi na likha rahega. She was told to sit on Dury's thighs. To uska matlab kya ho sakta hai? Why we are even discussing? She asked to undress un front if everyone clearly says that raoe and gang rape was not far.

I'm not denying that possibility. I was focusing on another aspect.

Duryodhan intended to make her mop chambers and Karna suggested her to pick another husband and even labelled her unchaste while justifying the treatment she was subjected to. There was also a mention of service women. Surely it hints something horrifyingly wicked.

So will they show everything in book vo bhi jo ho nahi paaya? Haven't we saw any shows or read stories ki haari huvi auraton ke saath kya hota hai? Nagna and kapde utaarna were start and we can understand where it would lead too. Lost women were not just daasis but sex slaves too. Otherwise why Karna would call her vaishya and tell how it would matter if she comes to one more man when she already has 5 husbands?

Dhrity and Gandhari both grossly under-compensated her for her trials!

Karna is still daring to speak! 😔

Kunti is slaying today! šŸ‘

Also, I'm liking how did not show Draupadi as some stoic Goddess who is always unshaken, but they showed her as an actual human who cried and begged, and took some time to get back on her feet!

Also, Gandhari is also coming to her element as the Hastinapura ki Maharani now! Alas, a little too late! 😭

Did I imply that? No.
