Bride part actually made me soft. Yes. They are all super powerful. Another thing they have in common is being back in the game after loosing everything. JW lost almost all his spiritual power in process of building a bridge to heaven but then he removed all the traces of his previous life and emerged back again as the most powerful God and became heaven's emperor. XL was banished twice and even with negligible spiritual powers he ascended again, making history for being the only person to ascend thrice. HC is living(dead) example of making comebacks and each time he gets mightier and more powerful.

TGCF is just perfect from every angle. I wouldn't call this a regret but I wish there could be a little better story-line for wind master and some more action sequence for He Xuan. And also a few things which were left unexplained like how He Xuan paid HC back and for what! HC's verbal password (I read in twitter that it's 'I love Hua Cheng/Chengzu' so XL was shy.... IDK I want to know what the author has to say lol), the mural painting in 1000 statue cave and ... there's one other thing I'm forgetting. I had a count of 3, I remember well. I agree I loved loved lord wind master. He was so damn good. I wanted his and Xuan's love story which did not happen. 😔 Also I was not okay the way he ended up loosing everything because he was not the one who harmed HX.

Lemme help you, HX paid HC back by allowing HC-XL bring the finale fight to Black water demon lair. He also put his resources to use to fight with JW. For what he paid HC its clear HX was powerful but poor. So HX owed HC money. Yes I too think HC's verbal password was 'IL hua cheng'. I did not read it anywhere but I reach to this conclusion while reading the book. how? I don't remember. Also I think the mural painting was of the time when XL was intoxicated and trapped in a cave by White no face. HC was alive that time and he was trying to protect XL. Well XL saved himself that day by stabbing himself but you know he was hot and bothered due to the aphrodisiac effect of the flower demon. As FX and MQ were embarrassed seeing the mural, I feel HC must have painted XL in that intoxicated state in cave from his memory.

He Xuan also had some soft corner for wind master. I understand that the author had too much on her plate with HuaLian to focus on love stories of side characters but I still wished.

Its weird but I was never worried about HC getting hurt because of his attitude I guess. The only time I felt pity towards him was when he was in temple and he asked XL(XL's statue) about why he should continue living and all. That was the only time I felt his hopelessness. All the other times even if he was in bad shape he was fighting and he was determined to overcome every hurdle to be with XL.

That part was to show his devotion maybe but imo he looked like some secret stalker lol 🤣(on the top of that, the way he behaved- hiding something or like a kid caught red-handed) otherwise the giant statue and other little details were beautiful.

Exactly. The idea is not just bizarre its crazy. I mean whats the logic behind it? Even if your idol don't get married to anyone they are not going to marry you either. So, whats the point? I'm glad we are not part of such an unhealthy and dangerous fan culture. I mean its one of the freaking reason many of the young Korean artists commit suicide or deal with severe mental pressure.

Thanks for link. I do read books offline but only those available to me on my registered rental service. I don't prefer going to libraries and I don't prefer to buy books either. I my opinion that's a waste. I have very few hard copies of the books I absolutely adore and they are my go-to-books if I don't have anything to read.

Yes XL was nailed to the coffin and as its was pierced in his chest, there were some repercussion of that in extra chapters too. HC is not surprised at anything because he surprisingly or not so surprisingly knows everything. But no matter how we calculate it doesn't sum up 800 years. HC had all the time in the world. it was ages ago when he beat the 31 gods out of 33. At that time he was already declared supreme. He was busy destroying those 31 god but what after that? Considering XL was the center of HC's universe, 800 years of separation is too much for me. I wanted more detailed explanation on that. I can understand why the author must have skipped it. The book is a monster even without these details but I wish I could just get more details.😆

Yes. What I loved about the book most is its not difficult for a reader to see how, when and why HC fell for XL and XL fell for HC which is missing from MODC. When you read MODC its clear when WWX fell for LWJ but when, how and why LWJ fell in love with WWX was not explained at all. LWJ's feelings were so intense that he lost control sometimes over it, but it would been more amazing to know when it all started(I mean we get faint idea about when but how is so damn unclear). Only 2 people in the world have answer for that 1st the author herself, 2nd LXC LWJ's brother. LXC was best brother in a way, he knew everything about LWJ and his feelings towards WWX from start.

I am not really worried about kyungsoo because he is way too mature for this nonsense. He care too less to entertain such baseless criticism but Baek is a different story. He has already faced so much and I think that's why it still affects him. But I do feel he should stop caring. He is too talented to let some stupid folks feel he is superstar because of them. They are crazy idiots. I too would have loved shirtless sehun but not always. That's how I came to know about 2gether. Its a current fav of mine. I in fact read the incomplete unofficial english translation of the book too. The translation project was terminated due to copyright issues.
