True! Not with anyone. That is why I always somewhere felt that RB deserved better. Prerna was an awesome woman but for a man like RB who loved one woman with such depth and such intensity, I would have preferred someone who loved him with equal madness. Yes, Prerna loved him immensely. She loved him more than she could have loved anybody else. She never loved Anu with such devotion. All this is great but she didn't have what RB had. To think that she was ready to marry Anu at 85 after just a little emotional blackmail, that too by her jaani dushman komolika... This makes me imagine what she would have done 50 years ago (when she was in mid 30's) if RB had really moved out of her life. Not immediately but maybe after 5-8 years, she would have married another because of some compulsion?

Prerna was more than capable of being devoted to RB for like an eternity but the makers spoiled this one thing for me.

Devotion - the highest level of love - is what RB truly symbolized. Prerna was devoted to him too but RB was just another level, man.

The culprit were the makers because for them the center was AP while the real soulful love is really personified by PRB, particularly RB (this is also because of RR's acting as he really really got into the skin of the character).
