Even Sonalee Kulkarni looks so heavy in her dance program. OTOH Sonali Kulkarni (and even Mrunal Kulkarni), in spite of her age and crows feet around her eyes looks so much more dignified and attractive.

IMO Mrunmayee D looks the freshest compared to the stylised top rung actresses such as Sai T, Priya B and Prarthana B. Just recently watched two of her movies Katyar... and Sanshay Kallol.

Putting on weight is one thing but I am concerned about the kind of scenes some of the leading hero and heroine's are giving in web series. Bold is an understatement. Especially passionate kissing scenes have never been part of Marathi film industry. Since their real life wife or husband are someone else what those guys must be thinking ? Just for the sake of earning money or to remain in the competition - to what extent these people are going. What do you people think ?

Watched the web series The Forgotten Army. Changli ahe. Vel asel tar bagha. It's about Azad Hind Sena. And the soldiers..Who were later denied any sort of inclusion in the Indian Army after 1947.(Independence). Despite fighting for freedom of the country.

Ho agree with u. Kissing scenes were absolutely not needed in samantar web series and also in many other serials. Even in The Raikar Case web series...The daugher of naik raikar is in love with the investigation officer . And then tere is a s*x scene which was NOT AT ALL NEEDED. she is so young.i mean may be 20 to 25 yeara age group.and that SP must be around 35 plus. That entre scene is so irritating.

I also saw ek thi begum. Marathi webseries. Another below average gangster drama and the main heroine wants to take revenge for her husband's murder. So one can imagine. Purepur sarva masala thhasun bharla aahe mi aadhichya post madhe mhantlya pramane. Forward karatach baghitli 12 peksha jast webisodes baghne ashakya aahe without forwarding.

now as many of us r watching webseries as all channels have nothing to show other than repeat telecast of d previous serials or running serials due to covid19 and lockdown.

after lockdown when actually shootings will start,this will take another month i suppose,we all also may fed up with web series,

like we,there will b so many.so once channels start showing fresh episodes,we will definately shift to these new fresh episodes,there r bright chances that these channels specially zm will get highest trp even for those shows for which the were not getting that trp before lockdown

as i have heard that new show maza hoshil na was not doing so well although it got just 3 weeks before lockdown,bt still it failed to get fame as tpr,or mnb got intially.bt now it can also have chance.

And to think of it Marathi actors are also going far ahead in giving these scenes.... Umesh Kamat, Swapnil Joshi, Sai T, Priya Bapat, Spruha Joshi , Tejaswini P..Abhindnya Bhave have gone far ahead in this... I don't know if any other actor have joined this list.... But these hot and bold romances were never a part of Marathi industry atleast... With the changes happening everyone is just busy doing these in the name of changes

The very reason many people switch to making these web series is, probably, that there is no censorship and anything goes. And as you say, stars are going along with the herd mentality. I still don't understand the revenue model for these web series. I just watched a few web series episodes initially but was so put off by these crass scenes and expletives that I have stopped watching them. I prefer to watch old marathi classics which are far more entertaining and more wholesome.
