And word about Dutta....you know it wasn't just the acknowledgement that what he did was wrong, but the WAY they showed it.....the depth in the dialogues....a simple line like "gussa tha woh....or "Lekin teri galti nahin thi" and the way MR delivered it just took this scene to another level.....he didn't let himself get a free pass on anything no matter how much Nakku was willing to brush it aside.

There is another bit I gif-ed previously....this portion when he sees the blood spattered on her forehead....it's his blood, but it reminds him of the time he pushed her and it caused her to hit her head.....the way his head drops and he looks away....just a small bit like that spoke VOLUMES.

And this is why aajkal ke shows can't match up....nobody bothers building up nuance like this.....nobody tries capitalizing on the unsaid aajkal.....sab half-baked ya OTT hai and they expect people to give them waah waah over token chindi crap. Doesn't this remind you of the pathetic way they tried to sell the Rikara story as some kind of "biswaas" love story? Wahaan full on abusive crap tha, no character connection, token "apologies" and people are gaga over that. LOL sach mein DN jaisi stories samajhne ki comprehension abilities nahin rahi ab logon mein.

don't get me started ab toh morche nikal jaane thay on how abusive Dutta is and how regressive he is and how a doormat Nakku is caz she tried to brush it aside by giving it haq ka naam and didn't say khokle 10 pages long dialogues on how it was wrong and how broken she felt and hurt. 🤔🤔

Meanwhile i keep getting impressed by the Strngth of Nakku that she took everything heads on. itna sab hone ke baad she go rejected the 2nd time round after the shaadi she did not indulge in rona dhona but had the courage to face it to change that hatred into love and not by doing chindi things and chindi harkatein. that khamoshi of nakku said so much about her hurt and pain.

the failure to look at her and the quick reminder of his past action says much more than any essay on maafi. he was truly ashamed of his own actions

so when i saw the title i was like wow they actually used a pakistani old classic on the show i was shocked for a moment not gonnna lie haha idk how i feel about the song yet as in the film copy version but in this situation it suits and worked so thanks

oh wow i had no idea bW made a copy of MEhdi hasssan's old classic so when i saw the title i was shook for a moment that they used a pakistani song 😆 little did i knew BW had ruined it way before LOL idk how i feel about it but in this scenario it worked so good job but wow am kinda in shock caz when i read the title this was what came to my head. BW never disappoints when it comes to copying

lol this has basically everyone from those times , Nupur mayank, Premheer,Preet meher, DN, PM, Arjun arohi, vivana and Kritika from the PKB show lol woh vampire wala couple lol ( the only bad thing about this whole thing was you couldn't choose who the creator would be making which is why it has some tacker pairing too ) so it used to be fun to see what the final edit will turn out to be where the host had to collect and put everything together

also found this I don't exactly what i edited here as most of those kotha scenes were him just doing chehal kadmi remembering Nakku Gosh THAT WAS A REAL TEST OF PATIENCE😆 everyday tune in to see Bhau walking here n there 😆 on chanda ka asra while baaji and nakku were just runnign around to find him

Oh haha I had forgotten this was an old Pakistani song. Fatty might have mentioned it when the sequence aired. Haan even if it was a remake, the song still suited the sequence for DN in that scene :)

They used a lot of unusual songs for DN. A song like Amber pe milte hain would otherwise never be used for an ITV pair. I liked Saaware a lot too. One of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s most soulful ones. It suited the raw angst of Dutta’s heartbreak so well.

Oh I’d forgotten Tacker ka yeh pairing on that Star One show. Odhni something it was called I think. Lol Baaki yeah all the big pairs from those years. Man, the vid quality feels even more sucky now na since it’s all HD these days? lol but back then people had to make do with jo bhi quality mile for VMs.

Your DN and Angad Kripa bits were both very nice :). That song portion did work out very well for DN.

I’ll watch the blind Dutta VM later once I reach that point in my rewatch😆

Speaking of Meher, lol it’s remarkable how far she’s come from that one supporting role in KDMH. I really liked her in Superstar Singer and recently in Special Ops too.

This reminds me that I was in middle of my BV rewatch some months back and then I got distracted again so pause ho gaya 😆. I was slowly rewatching the Shyam Sugna track in my Vikrant Massey nostalgia 😆

Chalo LTL uploads khatam kar ke I can go back to that. Nostalgia bhi mera bahut jump around karta hai. Lol I revert back to IB/Shivika beech beech mein too so it’s like multiple shows ka nostalgia going on at different points simultaneously 😆

This character, man🤣🤣🤣🤣.....I'm enjoying him way more in the rewatch.....the actor playing him did SUCH a good job.

And the dialogues🤣.....they literally translated "underworld" to "NEECHU ki duniya"🤣

The cameos in LTL were just LEGEND, ekdum😆......Anna, then Jagtap and finally Chaskar😆

Aww man, I still feel bad watching this phase for how much Dutta relentlessly berated Baaji for any security lapse .

I wish they had gotten one last nice extended making up scene before MR left. But end mein bas ek hug milaa after the last fight with Kala.....lol oh well.

I'd wanted something like a repeat of this scene.....this is one of my fav. scenes of theirs.

I guess yeh irony toh rehna hi tha that Dutta lost so much time with his loved ones cuz he was blinded by the wrong people.
