9 in India? Are you kidding me? 11 is the regular for India.

For my daughter’s birthday I invited amrican neighbors and regular Indian group of friends. We eat by 7.30-8 and kids sleep by 9-9.30

By 5.30, Amrican neighbors be like, we will leave now. It’s kids’ dinner time. I was Like wait.. lemme heat up the food. They couldn’t wait and I had to pack the food for them.

here we danced till 7. Ate by 8. Kids played till 9 and friends left by 9.30 so kids can sleep in the car. I swear I can’t party with Americans. Inke bachhe 7 baje so jate hai. 🤷‍♀️

I know right. I can adapt everything but not this eating by 6 and sleeping by 7 thingy.

There will be no personal time left with the kid. Pick them up from daycare, feed them dinner and put them to sleep. 🤷‍♀️ Ho gaya din khatam. I need an hour with my bachha daily.

Good thing is she takes good nap in afternoon. So daycare teacher is always happy. 😆
