So to continue with the HC, their cute nok jhok continues during the wedding, with Kunal being extra flirty (think sangeet with the saree) and Kuhu doing her best to ignore him and focus on her work. She keeps surrounding herself with people so he doesn't get a chance to talk to her. Kunal gravitates towards Varsha, asking her to tell him stories about Kuhu growing up while they do various tasks for the wedding. He ends up telling her at some point, without really thinking about it, now I understand how Kuhu is so caring and resilient -- she's just like you! Varsha gets all misty-eyed which totally alarms Kunal and he's like, did I say something wrong? She just puts a hand on his cheek and says, "tum bahut acche ho Kunal. I'm happy my daughter found a saathi like you." This of course, sends waves of guilt through Kunal, and he feels a surge of protectiveness for Varsha. He resolves even more strongly that he won't let this marriage fall apart.

Damn, I was going to write about how counselling helps them but got totally sidetracked! My desperate need for more Varsha-Kunal interaction is clearly lurking just beneath the surface at all times, ready to emerge at the slightest provocation. 😆

Okay!! I love Kunal-Varsha bonding scenes. I need more! Gimme more!!!!

I like Kunal's look from initial episodes, its my fav for Ritvik

unfortunately I like Kunal far more than I could ever bring myself to like Ahaan, sorry I really tried watching his previous show but couldnt, failed miserably at initial episodes only(somebody on this forum had suggested of watching his earlier show)

but the improvement in his craft is immense

To continue from where you left, Kuhu sees the two bonding and gets very suspicious. She takes him aside and tells him to stop scheming and that she will not tolerate her mother getting hurt because of him. She has already seen her brother's heart get broken but that's it!! Most of her family has already been hurt by his and she will not let Varsha and Shaurya be added to that list.

Kunal tries to tell her that he is not scheming and that he doesn't want to hurt anyone in her family. She refuses to believe him stating that he has already lied so much before, now she has no reason left to believe him. She starts to leave and Kunal holds her hand.

Kunal says "am sorry, Kuhu!" (Like he usually does) and promises that he will earn that trust back no matter what.

Sam, Pihu, so lets have an excited Kunal, looking forward towards their marriage counselling sessions

for him its like a chance to meet Kuhu since she is staying at Maheshwaris for some days to compensate the khalipan after Mishti bidaai & is totally avoiding him☺️

I think you're right. I couldn't bring myself to watch the show either but he looks soooooo goood in that picture *still swooning* ☺️

But I really would like to see him get better casual clothes.

Basically in this version of MA's wedding, I would love for Kunal to go full DDLJ because he's realised that Kuhu has a separate, special relationship with every member of his family but he barely knows hers. So he thinks WWKD? When he didn't allow her to be his wife, she just went ahead and fulfilled all her other roles as bahu, bhabs, bro, Kuhu-teacher, so while she is avoiding him, he decides to give her space and instead fulfill all his other roles.

Everywhere Kuhu looks, there is Kunal doing something with one family member or the other -- bringing dadu his BP tablets (pun not intended!), helping dadi sort out all the shagun ka samaan and pooja samagri (and of course there's a spreadsheet involved 😆), helping Shaurya set up a virtual meeting so he doesn't have to go into the office, just generally hanging out and chatting with Varsha while she does all kinds of miscellaneous tasks and taking Jasmeet on endless shopping trips and parlour visits whenever she needs to be distracted from her sadness over Nannu's heartbreak and departure. With Mishti, his interactions are mostly restricted to conveying various messages from Abir.

Kuhu is desperately trying to ignore him and focus on work, but she gets increasingly frustrated because he's making her heart melt and she has every intention not to be made a fool of again! All this while, Kunal keeps stealing glances at her, hoping for any kind of reaction, but she totally leaves him hanging. He just keeps reminding herself that this is what she must have felt like for months -- if she could be so patient with me, surely I can return the favour!

Ooh, I like the reason Kuhu has given for staying back at Maheshwari house, Peace. Makes a lot of sense. Kunal doesn't realise how hard counselling is going to be on him, does he? 😲 He's going to have to confront a lot of things he likes to sweep under the rug to maintain peace.
