I never disliked Anurag Basu till his brutally divorcing a pregnant P and calling the child illegitimate🤢 and then marrying another woman in a couple of days and then consummating without love (it happens in real world but for someone who wants to be seen as 'pyar ki murti' doing this is not justified imo) and then feeling jealous and disgusted when P after 8 years was marrying RB (the supposed father of the 'illegitimate' kid) and then calling his every action 'sacrifice' in the name of love when he had no other choice because P was in love with Mr. Bajaj by then.

He was a good guy. It was just that he was never right for P. P was a fierce and intense woman who could be compatible only with someone as intense as Rishabh.

Entire movie, not sure. But I remember I wanted the first half of the movie Ghajini on RR ST as RB and Prerna. 😆

One scene popped up in my mind as I saw your post😆 - the train scene of Hum dil de chuke sanam where they don't have the tickets and so they hug and you know...☺️to avoid the TC. Maybe during the angry RB phase, PRB have to go somewhere for business purpose and he forgets the tickets because he is very disturbed and then in train... You know😆

Word. I'd like to add that I was appalled by the reaction of regressive Basus after Prerna's announcement that she's marrying RB. They reacted like they own her and she's committing a huge sin. But Basu marrying and consummating days after his son's death was delightful for them.

Exactly! A bunch of hypocrites and holier-than-thou people. Anurag Basu was a hypocrite and I never felt sad for him. He deserved it all. Nice guy in the beginning but his limits of nice-ness began to unwrap with his first marriage with Komolika. And see, how like a loser, he drowned himself in self-pity and claimed to be 'mahaan'.

Actually right, I take my words back. He was not even a good guy.
