Yes. From tonight, Yeh Hai Chahatein will air both at 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm. I also hear that Hostages will air in the 10:30 pm slot soon. So until this situation improves, YHC will air at 8:30 pm.

StarPlus is re airing that first promo of Yeh Hai Chahatein with Ishita and Raman on TV. The show will air on Mon-Fri 8:30 pm according to promo.

If “Hostage” will air at 10:30 pm, does that mean YHC will lost its time-slot of 10:30 pm and will permanently shift to 8:30 pm slot?

I think at the moment star plus should keep YHC at 10:30 pm because it still need sometime to have its loyal set of viewers. Also at this slot, YHC will have less pressure for TRPs which means writers can show content more freely without channel interfering with storyline/tracks.

Hostages is just a stop gap arrangement since they don’t have new episodes for other shows. Well it is still not clear if Hostages is going to air at 10 pm or 10:30 pm. Once shooting begins, YHC will most prolly shift back to its original slot of 10:30pm. I guess this re run is to get more audience for the show. Maybe it is some kinda test run for future time slot changes. It all depends on TRPs now.

Ahh okay. Hopefully YHC goes back to 10:30 PM slot, it’s better for it at the moment.

However, I do feel 8:30 PM might be a permanent new time-slot for YHC as the channel and all YHC’s actors/cast are promoting the new timing.🤔

YHM use to air at 11pm which was good for the content and it shifted to 7:30pm after running for several months. This atleast helped YHM to get its loyal fan base/viewers and then the slot shift added more viewership to it.

In the case of YHC, it still need to achieve a strong fan base because it has only started to pick-up TRP after Ru-Pree wedding which is roughly under a month. The first 2 months of the show have been wasted on court drama (many scenes were without main leads being in the same frame) which did not add much to the show.🤦🏽‍♀️

Yeah, we did not have much of leads scenes until after the wedding. That really didn’t help the show.

Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma airs at 8:30 pm. I think the show is in its 12th year new and is almost always the slot leader. For one or two months, Yehh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka became slot leader. But off late it has dropped in ratings.
