Kuhu smiles and squeals as she shakes a tree and is showered by the water-laden branches. Kunal's jaw drops even further. Kuhu is a vision: the saree clings to her form and raindrops glisten in her hair. "Kunal aao na. Aaj toh boring mat bano, C'mon!" calls Kuhu. Kunal snaps out of his reverie. Kuhu turns around, having given up. Maybe it's the rain, maybe it's Kuhu, but Kunal's legs start walking on their own. His gaze is trained on Kuhu as he approaches her. Oblivious to it, Kuhu is surprised when she feels someone come up behind her. Two strong arms snake around her waist and she is pulled back into a warm, hard chest. "Kuhu..." breathes out Kunal, his breath tickling Kuhu's neck. Kuhu shivers and turns her head to look at him. She slowly turns around to face him. The rain catches Kunal's hair as it travels down his face. Kunal pulls her closer, if such a thing was possible. With one hand on her waist, he brings his hand up to cup her face. Kuhu's face is upturned, her chocolate brown eyes gaze into Kunal's hazel ones. He can count every droplet on her face: a few drops cling to her eyelashes and one particularly stubborn droplet sits on her bottom lip, making her lips look even fuller than they are. "Kuhu, have I ever told you ki tum kitni sundar ho? You're beautiful," he lets out. Kuhu's eyes widen. It's something she has been told by other but never by him, never by Kunal. She smiles. Kunal leans down, his face moving closer to Kuhu's. Both of their eyes close. They're a sight to see: two people lost in their own world.
