@Dark Lord- Kunal would be okay with giving away a 30% stake in Red Pear to get the baby to shut up.

Kunal calls Uma Patel to draw up a contract.

Kunal: "Hello Uma Patel. Main Red Pear ka 30% stake kisi ko dena chahta hai"

UP: "Who, sir?"

Kunal: "Uhmm...hai koi. Ek bahut achchi investment hai. Iss investor se humme pakka faayda hoga"

Baby cries. Kunal pleads silently to the baby to stop.

UP: "Par sir, 30%..."

Kunal: "Haan, toh peace of mind, mera matlab profits ke liye karna padta hai"

@Nikki and lops- Yes, please bring angry Kuhu back. Kunal hasn't made up for what he did and here Kuhu has forgiven him like she is Mother Teresa.

Meenu ko resort bhej do, sab theek ho jaayega. She needs spa. Imagine she is getting her head massaged and she goes, "Ambe Maa Ki Saugand...itni achchi maalish mujhe aaj tak Koshlu ne bhi nahi di'.

@bold: 🤣🤣🤣

You're imagination is on fire today, from heart-melting drabble to -- err, whatever this is. 🤣

Yeah, ITV of the post-Ekta era is designed to spoonfeed the audience, especially wrt who is good and evil. It makes sense because it's mostly for women who are watching while doing a million other things, not for people who want to sit down, engage and think about a show. Everytime I get annoyed at the unsubtlety of ITV, I remind myself what it's like to try and watch something with my mom. I am forever pausing and she is forever leaving, talking to people, answering the phone, and then asking me, haan so what happened? 😡😆

@bold- 🤣So relatable. I have noticed that I have this superpower where I can start watching an ITV show from any random episode and understand what the story is. Now you make what you want of it 😆

EK era- Even EK shows pre-2008 still had grey characters or 'questionable' things being done by the leads, like KZK's premarital pregnancy, PreMukti's love story etc. IDK why but after the K-serials shut shop, ITV has become even more orthodox.

As for my Meenu drabble, well, everyone needs love. In fact, I suggest that the foursome should find a dilwala for Meenu, who will give her a lunch box as she goes to office and gives her chai before her veena sessions. Parul will be freed.

Maybe Vibhuti from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain.

You literally got me on my knees with this last paragraph🤣

I declare myself as your fan🙇🏻‍♀️

Also, whoever brought it up, I want angry Kuhu too but the calm, strong, angry Kuhu, not the one we get to usually see with Mishti. She sets everyone straight, especially Kunal!

Even this song really fits KuKu-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cdoxrtNVIA

And I hate how much I love you, boy (yeah)

I can't stand how much I need you (I need you)

And I hate how much I love you, boy (oh whoa)

But I just can't let you go

And I hate that I love you so (oh)

You completely know the power that you have (power that you have)

The only one makes me laugh (makes me laugh)

Sad and it's not fair

How you take advantage of the fact

That I

Love you beyond the reason why

And it just ain't right

I have the same superpower. I think it comes with the experience of coming back home from school and seeing KZK, Kyunki saas.. while having lunch as mom used to juggle between cooking and keeping up with the shows.

I would love to see Meenu's love story. That would be so interesting!!

☺️

Hai daiyya, mujhe sharam aa rahi hai. 🤗 You're too kind. Thanks a lot. 💓

I agree, we want that Kuhu whose anger is like tightly wounded whip, rather than explosive fireworks that singe everyone in proximity, including herself.

Haha exactly. You can predict what will happen next. ITV's charm for its audience is that it's highly predictable. No matter the conflict, you can see it coming from a distance and you know the leads will have a happy ending.

Meenu's love story- True. It will be like Sridevi and Anil Kapoor in Beta haha.

I can't get over how they actually want us to believe Shaurya, Varsha, Jas look anything close to being parents to 20-somethings. Jas and Abir look the same age. I am like, which fountain of youth are drinking from despite having drama in their lives everyday?

@clarity: Meenu has finally come into her own as a sophisticated antagonist and I could not be more thrilled. Gone are the kacchi saazishes -- the high-concept mindgames are here. 😈 It makes me long for an alternate universe where Meenu uses these powers of perception for good, though. She would whip the immaturity out of these girls in no time , tell Kuhu to focus on growing her business if she is worried about money and status, and teach Mishti how to be a team player instead of going off on her own to solve problems. *Sigh* if only.

@aqua: That is a really sweet reading of Mishti's feelings on Parul! I also really wish they would bring Mishti's mom back at some point. I would love to see just how hypocritical BM can be. 😈 No, but seriously, I think that would be a really cool development for Mishti, if she can see her mum's slde of the story, forgive her, and have a relationship with her as two adults (they did this really well on Ye Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, if anyone's watched that).

Brucas and Zuko and Katara; I definitely see a pattern there. 😉 I am actually the exact opposite because I love couples where I can see how they would work in real life. Brucas had great chemistry, but ultimately, I don't think they were compatible. Brooke needed a more glamorous and demonstrative partner -- Lucas was way too intense and introverted -- so I love that they wrote Julian for her. Season 1-6 are definitely the best, but there are a few amazing stories and performances in the later seasons (like Haley's depression after her mom's death).

Nathan and Haley convinced me gradually because they were complementary opposites -- she grounded him and he pushed her to dream big for herself.

@Nikki: I didn't watch all of GG but I sort of followed it -- it's starting to look like I have watched more TV than anyone on this AT. 🤣 Kuku do have early Chuck and Blair vibes! Man, if people think Kuku is bad, they should have seen the saazishes those two did, and they were still the most popular ship on the show. It's nuts how different the standards are.

I second Aqua's recommendation of Avatar. It's SO GOOD and sort of the perfect thing to watch with the current state of things. I might have just convinced myself to do a rewatch 😃

Kuku ke bacche! 😲 I don't know why, but I always imagined them having boys. Kunal getting to be the father he never had and Kuhu being doted upon by all her men. That said, Kunal as a girl dad is something I didn't know I needed, so maybe we give them both. Meenu can do everything in her power to stop it, but Kuhu madam is on a mission now and vo bhi kuch kam nahi hai. 😉

So so fast!!

Is it weird that I am so impressed with Meenu?? The woman is so observant!! She knows all characters inside and out. And I would love to see her use her powers for good too. If that ever happens, she would become my favourite character.

Hai na?! It's so sweet.

Oooh!! Mishti's mom coming back! That would be so interesting to watch. I read a fic on Wattpad that had that. (https://my.w.tt/RybYJN02a5 - It's the author's profile. The person has 3 stories with all 4 characters going on simultaneously and if I remember correctly, 2 of them have Mishti's mom in some capacity and Jasmeet has layers and she is not bitter. They have really interesting fics.)

Oh! There is definitely a pattern. I'll give you one more: Dramione. That was my first ever ship. These were all that didn't pan out but if they would have, they would have such angsty but fun stories. I do love opposing couples that complement each other well and understand each other. That's where Naley come in. They were so great!

Oooh! I like the idea of a boy for KuKu but I love the twin girls. Maybe they can have 3 kids😆
