How was Rhea a better parent when it was mentioned in the film that she didn't have time for family because she was busy being a career woman? What traumatizing? So a parent is only supposed to shower hugs and kisses? He scolded his kid to toughen him up. Having extra-marital affair, being a bad husband doesn't mean he was also a bad father. Dev's mother preferred to stay with Rhea only to stay close to his grandson.

Arjun was a school going kid in the film and his mother still didn't have time for him. Dev even taunted her for not being a good mother and she replied back by saying how she is the man of the house.

What’s wrong with him acting “like a girl” then? He’s a kid and if it’s safe and makes him happy there should be no problem with him doing anything he wants tbh🤷🏽‍♀️. And yes I would say the same as a parent.

Plus Dev wasn’t just concerned or whatever about the kid acting girly...he was taking out his own frustrations on him which is even worse 🙃....

And what made Ria a bad mom anyway? Of course she had to work full time to provide for her son, her husband and her MIL as well! If both of them sat at home then who would earn?? I think after all he did Dev had no right to call his wife a bad mother!

A parent who hardly gets time to be with her son but spends quality time whatever little she does >>>>> An abusive and ass-hole of a parent that Dev was to the kid. Any sensible jury AND the child will always choose the former over the later. Period.

I didn't know playing the violin had a gender. Rhea was putting food on the table and providing Arjun with the necessary. Dev couldn't even do his part properly.
