I don't know why but I'm taking this drama very personally. I may be sharing Nageen's PTSD with the Sultan debacle, but if Haroon is secretly a bad guy too, I won't be impressed at all.

There are so many negative characters in this drama already...

Just goes to show what a strong unique character Nageen is! I think we all feel like we are walking in her footsteps. We all witnessed her desolation but we also know her strength and resolve to be independent and to carry on in the face of adversity. That’s what makes her so likeable.

She can’t trust Haroon yet but I think that will change with time, and with his kindness, yet I don’t think she will give her heart to him as she is still vulnerable due to her past with Sultan, she never again wants to go through anything that might leave her feeling weak and helpless.

I do hope Haroon won’t be a negative character but feel equally uncomfortable thinking of them getting married.

So I watched the episode at last and here are my two cents.

I had guessed that Haroon would be a positive character. But to my surprise he is not just a nice guy. He is smart and sensible as well. Characters like these are rare because usually the second leads they bring in to counter the powerful antihero are dull and boring goody two shoes guys without any charm. For example, the dude they introduced for the FL in Khaani was totally lacklustre as compared to the dynamic Mir Hadi.

However here we have Haroon who is an interesting positive character and who might as well possess the guts to stand up to Sultan inevitably. He is,what we call,a Good Samaritan who helps people unselfishly especially strangers. But the drawback is that good sams are generally misunderstood to be nosy. Anyways Nageen was actually wise to not trust him at first. It's natural to do so after what she has been through.

Now lemme talk about my preference of characters. I tend to enjoy characters who are intelligent, resourceful and who have agency of their own irrespective of whether they are black, white or grey. I'll confess that it's the grey and dark characters which tend to draw me more and I prefer angst and tension to fluff most of the time. But once in a blue moon,I do enjoy some light hearted and sweet stuff because excess of angst isn't wise as well.

About the entire Sultan × Nageen × Haroon issue,I am not anyone's team as of now. Right now I just want to see Sultan realising what he lost by hurting Nageen and pining for her. I want him to feel the same longing and pain which he inflicted on her. I want to see him feeling guilty for his actions. And I want to watch him suffer all the more after seeing her by Haroon's side. He had a woman whom he loved and who loved him back but he messed everything up because of his wounded ego and grudge.

As far as the endgame is concerned then I admit I do want a Sultan × Nageen reunion but only after a proper redemption track for him and not at the cost of Haroon's life. IF Nageen falls in love with Haroon later then she should end up with him. He is a great guy tbh.And if Haroon turns out to be a bad guy or gets dumbed down later then it will be a pity.

@bold,if Haroon and Nageen get married it will simply complicate the situation. I would prefer it if Haroon remains a caring and supportive friend to Nageen who later proves to be instrumental in Sultan's redemption.

But from the OST video,it seems that they will get married eventually :(

Well said! 👏I also want to see this happen, and I would love to see Nageen witness his pain and jealousy and slowly realise that he is still in love with her.

Hope Haroon stays only as a close friend.

Good grief, when will Nageen's tragedies end? I've never seen so many negative characters in a single drama. For some reason the more I see people being awful to her, the less I want her to end up with Sultan. He's not responsible for other people's behaviour, but surely he had some sort of idea of what was going to happen, especially when he planned with her awful brother in law.

Also, I think Haroon knows who she is from the video that went viral.

A lot of the episode was a repeat of last week.

I know, my heart truly broke for her in todays episode.

Except for her dear sister, who is the only one who seems to look out for her (and was so badly beaten up but still didn’t mention anything), why is everyone else so mean? what is wrong with all her family??

Her aunt is pure evil, no compassion for her own blood. I can understand the daughter in law having some grudge against her, but Nageen is a blood relative in need and trying hard not to be treated as a guest or a free loader and wants to help as much as possible.

I felt so bad for her when she could hear the gossiping from her aunt and her bahu by the kitchen door. They thought she was out of earshot but she heard everything, how cruelly they accused her of being such a lowlife woman with her “affairs” marring her dignity and then continued badmouthing her about how much of a burden she will be.

Nageen just listened and with a heavy heart she silently bore the pain of being yet again unwanted and misunderstood and could do nothing but swallow her tears.

Even then our strong willed Nageen, never one to crumble in the face of adversity, took to being a grateful part of the household and straightaway started cleaning, helping, cooking, self sacrificing, (greedy family didn’t even save her a kofta after she did all the cooking!) and still the aunt is grumbling about her.

Sultan is depressed and somewhat lost, he hasn’t gotten over Nageen at all. Not really enjoying his married life, I suppose he is in mourning now that he has lost all ties with Nageen.

Haroon is falling for her too fast. He even went the extra mile to help secure the job for her.

By the way Hiba was looking absolutely stunning in that rani pink dupatta at the office, that colour really suits her.

When will we see more of Sultan.😒

The whole phoppo's house fiasco felt forced. I wish those characters were cut. Just want to see Nageen stands on her feet again.😊

Sultan and Nageen are the soul of this drama. When Sultan was shown thinking of Nageen I wanted to see regret on his face, but he still thinks of the slap.😔 I am happy that his wife is giving him a tough time.😈

Nageen is going strong but I hate to see her accepting rubbish from her phoppo and her family. Why doesn't she just go to a hostel?.🤔
