Agreed he was wrong to go out and you can call him a hypocrite for that....But what do you mean by promoting his mentor? You are forgetting Modi is still the PM of India and every single Indian has an obligation to stand by him in this hour of emergency, regardless of their political inclination....Its frustrating how some people cannot see beyond the petty politics in every single thing!
