I like her because she is genuinely talented. She's worked hard her entire life and trained professionally. Bollywood's done her dirty, thanks to nepotism. I always found her pretty but she's turned out to be beautiful. She acts, she sings, she dances. I had no idea about her lead role in Grease, her audition for Aladdin until I Googled about her before her Bollywood debut. I hated the Suite Life remakes tho on Disney, I liked Tara on it tho 😆 Thats the first time I saw her on TV properly.

How has bw done her dirty? Isn’t she getting films? I feel it’s the audience who places more importance on star kids, right?

The kind of PR exposure (gym pictures etc), grooming (including p.s), movie tailor made for them...thats not the audience's doing. Look at Janhvi's lineup despite a poor debut. Ananya has a film with Deepika, Sara got big films immediately post Kedarnath. Alia's entire career is tailor-made.

The audience is fickle these days. They'll love what they see. And they see starkids all the time. Being an insider doesn't mean they are all talented...but the audience is made to think so.

Well yes I agree for the most part thats how it is. But tara can also work to bring her name up, she has gotten the right initial push in her career. a dharma launch has helped her with initial exposure. but its up to producers to cast her. and if she is talented and her films do well, the audience will take notice and the media will also be forced to pay attention

Producers cast actors not only based on their audition but also based on what their former directors/producers/mentors have to say about their work. Its like a Letter of Reference.

It doesn't seem Tara's mentor is saying anything much about her. No wonder she's done projects like Mar Jawaan and got a second heroine role in Ek Villian 2. I can only hope her role is as good as Disha's.

So as long as outsiders are getting movies, it’s all fair regardless of the fact that the starkids are getting the best picks. Jhanvi Ananya And sara all getting big movies left right and centre. It’s not even normal. Even likes of Kareena weren’t getting so many movies handed to them on a platter like the current staR kids are.

Tara is getting movies but doesnt look like she is being handed them to her like the others mentioned above.
