Yay! Garth is back... has twins... Sam and... Castiel. 🤣 I laughed so hard on seeing Dean’s face. Sam and Dean turn up luckless the entire episode. Garth asks for help regarding his cousin and the Impala breaks down on the way.. adding to the Winchesters’ bad luck.

The entire episode is set as a musical comedy.. Sam’s fits regarding the cayenne pepper he drinks for his cold and Dean’s 17 cavities.. Which leads us to the highlight- Dean tap dancing with Garth! 🤩💕👌 Garth fades away leading to the spotlight on Dean. What a remarkable way to come up with that one. ⭐️

They are captured at the Monster fight club due to their continuing bad luck and who better to help them than Garth 😆 who got to play hero for almost the entire episode.

That road where one goes when the luck runs out... seems familiar. 🤔 Maybe in some other context... in some other series... I came across it. Lovely send off for Garth. I hope some of the others get a similar send off as well. 👍🏼

Loved the episode and yippie Jack is back, my baby. Will come back to edit later.

Ps I saw next episode will air on 16th March, one and a half month of hiatus? 😮

Glitter... yes.. there is a 6 week hiatus... I think the next episode will be aired on Monday 16th March.

Well.. coming to the episode.. I wouldn’t say it was a total disappointment, but certainly it wasn’t worthy of being in the final season... maybe somewhere in the earlier seasons. 🤔 Ugh.. that lucky road turns out to be a pool hall where people play for luck.. this was a big dissapointment for me. 😵

Cass gets a case which leads him to Jack who is now eating Grigori Angel hearts to become stronger.. Jack’s reentry was rather flat and tepid; it didn’t have the desired depth nor drama that any angel/demon usually brings. Rather Belphagor ( the demon who possessed Jack) was more entertaining.. sadly speaking.. It was also expected that Jack wouldn’t be too enthusiastic about reaching out for help since his comeback, he maybe still feels guilty for Mary’s death... the reason why Dean didn’t warmly hug him.. but still.. Alexander Calvert (the actor) looked tired, dull and less enthusiastic in his scenes.

Scenes like Dean and Sam’s bantering.. they being shown to save most of the other people, Fortuna the goddess of luck showing her compassionate side and considering them heroes somewhat salvaged the episode for me. Wonder how Jack being back can help the Winchesters’ win over God. I hope they don’t show that God is killed🙄 in the end.

So amidst the plot of God becoming bored and planning to destroy worlds to ‘create a new slate’... we have covid wreaking its havoc across the world. What a time to witness this plot of Spn. 😆

So Jody, Death and Kia all make their appearances in this returning back from the hiatus episode. It had the usual... Another rescue for a long lost friend, yet another person deciding to stay back, bending rules for the ‘nth’ time and the ‘extra’ being the scapegoat and getting killed.

God dying and being killed.. I was never a great fan of... given what they themselves have shown before.. but oh well... it’s ending, ignore the illogical things and enjoy whatever is left of the show.. ( whatever they have managed to film until covid stopped production and disrupted shoots) 😔 😳

Haven't caught up with the season yet, have to binge-watch on this self-distancing weekend, but I swear the irony 😆

Also, all this happens when the show is finally ending. Such life. Who let Pestilence on loose?

Also, I was never a fan of introducing THE god. Well, whatever... I would be cribbing about the show forever.

But then thinking about the fact that from next year there won't be any new Winchester scenes and no J2 at comic cons is kinda unimaginable. 😒

Yep.. the sad irony.. am sure the makers themselves didn’t even dream in their wildest dreams that the world would be in a such a crisis.. 😵 with over 10,000 dead and counting...

Coming to your question of who let pestilence loose.. would be China and the world’s complacency that they won’t be affected so much... until it was too late.. Of course... the Chinese propaganda machine is now rushing to put the blame on others (US responsible for the covid virus) and make certain ‘whistleblowers’ disappear... but they have to be held responsible( strict sanctions and billions of dollars as damages) for putting the world in such a huge crisis... which sadly may never happen.

The death toll keeps increasing every day, the number of people infected keeps increasing every hour, and nobody knows where this would end.

Nobody would be held responsible for this, at the end we would be left would too many dead bodies and wrecked up economies.

Well.. well.. well... so quite a few blasts from the pasts... and I like the way, the creatives have found a way to bring them back. However, there was so much in the episode that was showed... sometimes I feel a monster episode doesn’t spin your head so much as a angel-demon one does...

So finally Death reveals that Jack’s body was being prepared.. for the big showdown... some spiritual preparation is also required... which turns out to be the ‘Occultum’ which is very important to the spiritual process of Jack’s return. Great to see that the makers made Dean at least say aloud that Amara also has to die along with God in order to maintain balance in the universe. 👍🏼 Cass finds out that Sister Jo has the occultum.. who via a flashback reveals that she sold it to Ruby.. who stashed it in Hell.. So the boys go to Hell.. and get tricked by Jo.. Cass goes to the Empty.. where surprise... The Empty takes on the form of Meg... 😎 who as usual flirts.. and gets him to meet Ruby.. who reveals that the Occultum is actually the safest place in the world...

So in between all this... you have an alternate version of Sam and Dean who ride a green Fiat... was it? 😲 who have a dad spoiling them with Scotch, have their own private plane, are paid handsomely by Huntercorp... which their dad founded.. who got trapped when their world was destroyed.. in between two dimensions.. whose sole purpose in the episode was to impersonate Earth’s Sam and Dean when they went to the place where the occultum was hidden. When they do reach the place they are chased by ‘Hellhounds’ who were guarding the occultum. Jack is supposed to consume it taking him to the Garden of Eden... where he gets his soul back. All his emotions and memories come flashing back... he saves the day.. and apologised to Dean and Sam back at the Bunker for what he did to Mary. Whew! 😓

Sadly there is yet another hiatus due to covid.. this is the last episode.. we will get to see in quite some time. 😒
